Thrushcross Valley, a national AAAA scenic spot, is known as "fairyland" and "Landscape Gallery" for its unique geographical advantages, rich agricultural tourism resources and beautiful natural landscape.

Thrushcross Valley ecotourism area is located in sidaohe village, Yaoshan Town, Western Lushan County, Henan Province, and at the north foot of Yaoshan scenic spot, with a total area of 30 square kilometers. The scenic spot is 60 kilometers away from Lushan County, 100 kilometers away from Pingdingshan City, and 200 kilometers away from Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Luohe and Xuchang. National Highway 311 runs through the scenic spot, with superior location and convenient transportation. The construction of the scenic spot started in November 2002 and officially received tourists in April 2004. It was approved as a national AAA scenic spot and a key scenic spot in Henan Province by the National Tourism Administration in December 2004. It was promoted to a national AAAA scenic spot in 2011.

Thrush valley

Thrush Valley is named for its numerous thrush birds. In the scenic area, Qifeng, Qishi, Qingxi, Bitan, Youxia, xiubao, Shidong, Humian, Yunhai, Hongye, Shanhua, Yeguo, Chinese herbal medicine, rare birds and animals, and primeval forest constitute a complete landscape system. There are more than 100 scenic spots with 95% vegetation coverage. Yingbin Lake

Thrushcross valley ecological tourist area is located on the South Bank of muzaling river. Azalea Lake

Rhododendron lake is the largest lake in Thrushcross valley. Because there are many rhododendrons growing on the mountains on both sides, it is named "Rhododendron Lake".

Dujuan lake is the largest water storage project in the upper reaches of Shahe River, which has the comprehensive functions of flood control, irrigation, water for human and livestock. The dam is designed to be 40 meters high with a storage capacity of more than 10000 cubic meters. Construction started in August 1973. Due to the long distance of mountains and rivers and the lack of transportation and construction equipment, all the cement used is carried by people on their backs. A total of more than 100000 pieces have been put into operation, which took six years to complete.

Rhododendron lake is like a shining pearl dotted in Thrushcross Valley, which sets off against the mountains, mountains, blue sky and water in the canyon.

Liudiewaterfall

Golden turtle in bath

The huge stone, shaped like a giant turtle, has a mountain on its back, and seems to have just come out of the bath. A few meters to the right are the dark green pool and dashiba. Dark green pool is named for its dark green water color. It is said that the golden Turtle was built for bathing and stealth. In order to make the pool deeper, the golden turtle used magic and built a big stone dam.

Water purification by magic hand

Magic hand water purification is a natural wonder in Thrushcross valley.

In the river bed, there is a huge hand shaped stone with five distinct fingers. It is said that it is the hand of Zhenshan God. If there is a flood on the mountain, it will be turbid. If it overflows from the hand, the water will become clear and transparent. It is said that a treasure robber went to Yindong to steal the treasure and fled to yuanbaotan. With the hand of Zhenshan God, the treasure robber was fixed there, and Yuanbao remained in yuanbaotan forever.

Qigan Temple Yaowang cave

There was a flagpole temple at the root of the opposite stone wall. It is said that in ancient times, a mountain folk helped a white haired old man to collect many medicinal materials and lay down on a nearby stone slab to have a rest. He dreamed that the old man carried the medicine to the opposite cliff. Mengxingguo doesn't see where the old man and the herbs are going. He only leaves a lot of money around him. He is suspected to be the king of medicine. When the news came out, someone came here to seek medical treatment and worship medicine. As expected, it worked, and a flagpole temple was set up to offer sacrifices. There is a cave on the hillside 200 meters south of the mountain. It is said that it is the residence of the king of medicine.

Crouching Tiger guarding the gate

Giant stone, shaped like a tiger head, facing south, named laohushi. It is said that there are two male and female tigers in Zhenshan mountain. The male tiger comes down to drink water. The fossil here is called xialaohushi. The river in front of the right side of the tiger's head is often waterless. It is said that the river dried up because of the tiger's drinking. In the western half of the mountain, there are female tigers who can't bear it and turn into tiger stones. Therefore, it is the upper stone gate in the ancient road from Lushan to Ruyang, so it is named Wohu gate.

Redstone Gorge

The Shixia landform, formed by rock fracture and flowing water, is named because the iron contained in the rock is oxidized to red. It is said that a red dragon once lived in the deep pool under the red stone waterfall. The dragon's body dyed the surrounding rocks red. Gorge perennial water gurgling, such as musical strings. Red stone waterfall

A cliff formed by fracture of rock strata. The stream falls from the top of the waterfall with a drop of 32 meters, so it is named because it is located in the Hongshi gorge. It is said that there was a red dragon living in the deep pool under the waterfall. After a long drought and no rain, people stirred the pool water.
