Project overview

Daxiangshan tree carving culture gathering area is located in the south of Xiangshan temple, Guanyin Zuting, new urban area of Pingdingshan City, with a total investment of 10 billion yuan, covering an area of 963 mu (commercial land), which is completed in three phases.

The first phase project, Daxiangshan Guoxue Cultural Park, is located in the east of Xiangshan temple. The park covers an area of 416 mu with an investment of 6.283 billion yuan. Among them, the project construction investment is 1.783 billion yuan: around the cultural heritage of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, there are "Guoxue lecture hall", "Baifo garden", "Guanyin cultural museum", "natural art museum" and "Qingxiu garden", etc. the construction period is 28 months, and it is expected to be completed by the end of 2016; the investment of tree carving art is 4.5 billion yuan: up to now, the large-scale tree carving art (based on shady wood) has been completed More than 400 pieces (accounting for 2 / 5 of the total collection), including Taxus, Phoebe, Cinnamomum camphora, Cymbidium, Cymbidium, etc., will be transported back to the remaining 1200 pieces of precious raw materials and tree carving art after the completion of the project construction.

The second phase project, Guanyin cultural leisure shopping plaza, is located on the west side of Daxiangshan Guoxue Cultural Park and the East and west sides of Xiangshan temple gate. The square covers an area of 247 mu with an investment of 1.365 billion yuan. 147 mu of land has been reserved (farmers' compensation and demolition have been completed), of which 87 mu of commercial land has entered the transfer process.

The third phase of the project is planned to build Guanyin Cultural Performing Arts Square, which is composed of sound, light and electricity of modern science and technology, and is located in the west of Guanyin cultural leisure shopping square. The square is expected to cover an area of about 300 mu, with an investment of 1.852 billion yuan. It has the function of sightseeing.

There are 18 "Daxiangshan" temples in China, 6 of which have been built, and only one "Guanyin ancestral court" is recognized by Buddhist circles.
