Zhu De's hometown is an AAAAA scenic spot in Yilong County, Sichuan Province.

Zhu De's hometown scenic spot was officially awarded the national 5A scenic spot, so far, the number of national 5A scenic spots in our province has increased to 11.

Zhu De's hometown scenic spot started to create 5A in 2014. In November 2015, it passed the resource and landscape quality assessment and entered the national preliminary list of 5A creation. In September 2016, the creation of the scenic spot passed the provincial inspection, and in October, it entered the online publicity list of 5A scenic spots of the National Tourism Administration. With an area of 5.6 square kilometers, the scenic area has jurisdiction over 5 villages, 32 villager groups and 1605 households, belonging to the original ecological open scenic area. At present, there are 3 national key cultural relics protection units and 11 provincial cultural relics protection units.

Zhu De's hometown scenic spot is located in Ma'an Town, Yilong County, Nanchong City, with Zhu De's former residence, Zhu De's birthplace, Zhu De's Former Residence Memorial Hall as the main body, integrating Ding's manor, North Sichuan puppet and other human resources, making full use of Linlang mountain, sifangtian and other geographical indications, integrating German culture, red culture, Hakka culture and farming culture, so as to realize the integration of natural landscape and human landscape.

The scenic spot is a national red tourism demonstration area integrating "great people's admiration, tourism consumption, vacation and leisure". The core scenic area covers an area of 5.6 square kilometers, governs 32 villager groups in 5 villages, 1605 households and 5385 people, belonging to the original ecological open scenic area.

There are 3 national key cultural relics protection units and 11 provincial cultural relics protection units in the scenic area. In 2005, it was listed as 100 national Red Tourism classic scenic spots, and in 2006, it was rated as national 4A scenic spot. It has won the honorary titles of "national patriotism education demonstration base", "national anti-corruption education base" and the first batch of "scenic spots leading villages" tourism poverty alleviation demonstration scenic spots in China. It is one of the 12 key red tourism areas and 30 red boutique tourism routes in China.
