After determining the declared townships on December 27, the work of withdrawing townships and establishing towns in our county has been officially put into the stage of preparing materials for reporting. The relevant materials of the six townships were reported to the county and municipal governments step by step and transferred to the provincial people's Government on March 9.

After careful preparation and step-by-step declaration in the early stage, Tengchong city obtained the provincial government's approval on April 28 to withdraw six townships in Tengchong County, and agreed to cancel Jietou Township, Mingguang Township, Qushi Township, Zhonghe Township, Mangbang Township and Hehua Dai wa Township in Tengchong County, and establish Jietou Town, Mingguang town, Qushi Town, Zhonghe Town, Mangbang town and Hehua town. After the township was removed and established into a town, the administrative region of the original six townships was taken as the administrative region of the six towns, and the resident and subordinate relationship of the town people's government remained unchanged.

After receiving the reply from the provincial government, the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress issued a decision on the relevant issues of the six townships in Tengchong County.
