Daqingshan is located on the shore of the Yellow Sea in Southeast Shandong, 7 kilometers southwest of Wulian County. Surrounded by many peaks and competing with hundreds of gullies, it forms a famous scenic spot with an area of 20 square kilometers. It is 7 km south of Wulian County. It is 160 km from Qingdao in the East, 50 km from Rizhao Port in the South and 110 km from Weifang in the north. Developed and constructed in 2000, it has initially formed a characteristic scenic spot with natural ecological tourism as the main part, integrating sightseeing, exploration, leisure, entertainment, recuperation and conference.

In Daqingshan scenic area, "Wanfoshan ancient culture area" is formed. The main scenic spots include: ancient Great Wall site, ancient village site, Wanhe temple, ancient garden cypress, etc. "suoyanggong cave area" mainly includes Longzhu cave, Yinlong cave, Fozhu cave, etc. "Yongcui gorge exploration area," main scenic spots include sandiebao, Jishuitan, Huima cliff, shengxiantai, etc.; there are also "longqiuxia" Shuiyue District, "Shiqiu gorge" "Island Peak" lawn ecological zone.
