About Cai E
Cai E (1882-1916) was born in Shaoyang, Hunan Province.
He was a scholar under the age of 13. In 1898 (the 24th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu), he entered Changsha current affairs school and studied from Liang Qichao. In 1900, he joined the independent army and went to Japan Sergeant school after failure. He returned to China in 1904 and trained the new army in Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangxi and Yunnan. In 1911 (the third year of Xuantong), he promoted the thirty seventh union of Yunnan. In response to the outbreak of Wuchang Shouyi, Li Gengen, the general manager of Yunnan jiaowu hall, raised his troops in Kunming to establish a military government and serve as the governor of Yunnan. In 1913, he was transferred to Beijing by Yuan Shikai for surveillance. In November 1915, he sneaked out of Beijing. In December 1915, he organized the national defense army in Yunnan to fight against yuan. He fought with Yuan's army in Huzhou (now Huxian county) and Naxi of Sichuan Province, forcing Yuan Shikai to withdraw from the historical stage in the sound of overthrowing yuan. After Yuan Shikai died, he served as governor and governor of Sichuan Province. He went to Japan for treatment due to laryngeal disease and died on November 8, 1916 at the age of 34. It was buried here in April 1917. Dr. Sun Yat Sen wrote elegiac couplets in his own handwriting to mourn general Cai: "in his life, he was generous to protect the class, and to close Ma Fubo for thousands of miles." Comparing the general to ban Chao, who joined the army with pen, and Ma Yuan, the Fubo general in the Eastern Han Dynasty, shows that the general's achievements can be marked in the history.
Confidant
When you look at general Cai, you have to remember the story of Impatiens. At that time, a movie named "bosom friend" with a theme song of "looking for a bosom friend in high mountains and flowing water" vividly portrayed the love tragedy between general CAI and her bosom friend, little Impatiens, and won the tears of many infatuated men and women. I still remember the tragic scene of Xiao Fengxian destroying Qin Xie Zhiyin when she learned the bad news of the general's death in Japan
"Green mountains, green water It's like crying, it's like crying In this sad song, a small boat carrying the heartbroken little Impatiens to the end of the world, gradually away.
Of course, the story has the element of romance. However, it undoubtedly added a lot of legendary and romantic color to the general's military career, and showed the general's elegant demeanor. "Merciless may not be a real man", the general's children's personal love does not damage the general's image.
A gust of wind blowing, the pines surging, issued bursts of whimpering, like a little Impatiens in the weeping singing: "the general draws the sword from the south, I would like to be a long wind around the flag"
