Main attractions

There are caves in the cave, winding and surrounded by wonders, just like a maze. According to the guide, among the more than 20 caves here, Xianyun cave, Youqin cave and Shiyan cave are the most spectacular.

Xianyun cave is located on the hillside. It is full of clouds all year round. The local people call it "outlet cave". Walking to the entrance of the cave, you can feel a warm air coming. A hundred meters down the stone steps, you can see the grotesque rocks in the cave, just like the competition of peaks. The road is wide and narrow, just like entering Tao Yuanming's paradise of "the beginning is very narrow, only then can you understand people, suddenly open". There are stalactites, stalagmites and stone pillars in the cave, which have been formed for hundreds of millions of years. What's more, all these things are shrouded in the warm air of cloud and fog, which makes you feel like walking in a dream or roaming in the palace in the sky. Holding your breath, you can still hear the gurgling spring. It's a clear underground river. No one knows its source or where it's going. Hundreds of meters deep along the river, I came to a huge stalactite wall. There was a clear sound, like a drum like a bell. Maybe it was a stone drum or a stone bell. Youqin cave is only a mile away from Xianyun cave. It lies on the Bank of the river at the foot of the mountain. It is famous for its "spring". The sweet springs in the cave gush from the cracks of the rock to form a river. The sound of the spring is jingling, and the rhythm is leisurely, like a palace maid playing with the Guqin. A stone at the entrance of the cave is like a buffalo lying in a stream, so the local people call it "buffalo cave". It is said that in the past, a buffalo spirit often made waves, flooded the grain fields and harmed the people. Later, it was put into the cave by Guanyin Bodhisattva, which made the people safe. Usually, the clear spring is transparent and clear, and the fish and shrimp derived from the bottom of the water can be seen. But sometimes it's sunny outside the cave, but occasionally muddy water gushes out of the cave. According to the local people, it is said that in the past, a child once set ducks in the mountain stream outside the cave. Without paying attention, the ducks went into the cave to feed by the water. After waking up, the duck lit a torch and went into the cave to search for more than ten miles. He was afraid that the torch would burn out, so he had to go back. But a few days later, the ducks came out from the Wan'an Songyang in Longyan, 30 to 40 miles away. It can be seen that the scale of the cave is rare in our province.

Shiyan cave and Youqin cave look at each other from afar. Thousands of stone swallows in the cave are hanging upside down like bats on the wall of the cave. Once the tourists are disturbed, groups of stone swallows will fly out of the cave. The buzzing sound is endless. It's very interesting. Shiyan cave is like a honeycomb. There are holes in it. In a hall of the cave, there are statues of Avalokitesvara and the gods of the earth.

Some geologists in Fujian Province are investigating whether the cave is the largest in Fujian Province. Laiyuan cave is really a spectacular landscape in the mountains and rivers of Western Fujian.

Laiyuan cave group in Liancheng is located two kilometers away from Laiyuan township. There are 13 caves large and small in nearly two square kilometers of limestone hills. It is the largest cave group found in East China. It is known as "the first Dragon Cave group in East China". The famous three caves are "Youqin cave", "Xianyun cave" and "Shiyan cave".

Youqin cave

The cave is named after the quiet sound of the spring flowing between the rocks. The cave is warm in winter and cool in summer, and the air is fresh. Some of the stone curtains on the cave wall are like sky curtains, and some are like rolled up curtains. All kinds of stalagmites grow from the ground in different thicknesses and shapes, such as spring shoots after rain. The stalagmites and all kinds of stalagmites are connected to form stalagmites. The number of stalagmites and the shape of stalagmites are incomparable. The stalagmites are jagged and varied, and the crystal jade pillars stand alone. Hanging upside down, the ice is steep and ingenious, and the male is like a lion, the tiger and the eye; the female is as soft as Venus. The various stalagmites, stalagmites and stone curtains are all "living". Because the water droplets on the top of the cave contain a lot of calcium, they have been sinking for many years, integrating the wonderful scenery of dripping water into columns, dripping water into forests, dripping water into fields and dripping water into paintings. Xianyun cave

It's doubtful to walk in the cloud when walking slowly in the cave.

Shiyan cave

It is named after the group of stone swallows living in the cave. The bats living in the cave hang upside down on the top of the rock. Before the human figure arrives, the group of stone swallows flies, hovering between the forks in the cave and buzzing.

Laiyuan cave is located in laiyuanshang village, Liancheng County, 2km away from the township. In the high altitude area, the karst cave elevation is between 760-900 meters. The village has been shrouded in fog for many years.
