Yingerlik desert is located 22 kilometers northwest of Hotan City, which is actually a part of Taklimakan Desert.

Because it is close to the urban area of Hotan and has convenient transportation, you can get to the hinterland of the desert directly by off-road vehicle. Therefore, if you want to enjoy the wonderful scenery of the desert and don't want to spend too much time on the way, the yingerlike desert is a good choice. There are endless sand dunes and jingling camel bells.

On the way to the desert, you will pass the yingerlike reservoir, where the water potential is vast, which is a rare scene in the desert. On the sand dunes of the yingerlike desert, you can overlook the water surface with green willows. This pool of clear water adds a little vitality to the monotonous yellow sand.
