Sanqing mountain is one of the famous scenic spots in Jiangxi Province. In the west of ziyanshi and feiyinyan, more than ten meters above the north of the "Fu Mo Shang Xiang" cliff, about 400 meters away from the Sanqing palace, is placed in the "Qian" position of the eight trigrams. It was built in the Hongzhi period of Ming Dynasty (1488-1505). Chen Yunhe's poem "feixiantai" praises that "the immortals have been flying to the ancient times, and only three words are still standing for such a long time. It's true that who will climb the empty platform again? It's not an account of feelings, it's not a record of events. It's hard to recognize that the inscription on the eight lines is peeling off, and the two-layer base is still elegant. Come again, come again leisurely, leisurely.".
introduce
Feixiantai imitates the early style of India and combines with the ancient traditional architectural form of southern China. It consists of three parts: the base, the body and the top. All made of granite. The square two-layer base consists of two layers. The lower layer has six sides and six doors, which is 0.82 meters high. It is composed of 12 rectangular granite stones for lotus petal shaped openning. The upper layer is 1.58 meters high, round, with four openings. It is also composed of 8 rocks for lotus petal shaped openning. However, unlike the lower layer, the petal tip is gradually divided to the top of the platform, which is connected with the arc of the lower layer. It was originally built on the top of a platform composed of eight treasures and gourds, with a total height of 5.33 meters, implying the meaning of three Qing Dynasties and four imperial dynasties of Taoism. The top had collapsed and was restored by the former Sanqingshan administration in 1995. At present, the top of the platform has been changed into a seven level pagoda shape, with a total height of 6.80 meters. The 12 lotus petals in the lower part of the platform were originally engraved with characters on each side. The only remaining stone inscriptions that can be identified after restoration are: "Oriental Jade Emperor Tianzun", "Jinxi Fangwu gold inscriptions", "Taoist abbot of Guben mountain", "Wang Yonghu's vulgar brother Yongyou", etc.
Architecture
Feixiantai is an important Taoist building for welcoming, meeting and flying immortals. According to folklore, on the first day of August every year, the Jade Emperor will hold a group of immortals meeting in Yujingfeng. When all the immortals come to Sanqing mountain for a gathering, they will take a rest at feixiantai, overlooking the magnificent scenery around here, so it is named
.
The base and lower part of the platform are Taoist buildings, with six gates in the middle and four gates in the upper. The platform contains three Qing and four imperial officials and commands the whole world.
The upper part of the platform is a Buddhist building, with a circular arc shaped lotus petal shape. "Lotus" is clean and colorless, symbolizing the lotus throne of Buddhism, boundless Buddhism and boundless merits. The Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum in Nanjing and the Ming Huangling mausoleum in Fengyang are both engraved with the same characteristic symbol of lotus seat.
Feixiantai in Sanqing mountain skillfully integrates the characteristic symbols of the architectural forms of Buddhism and Taoism, leaving another cultural heritage of the ancient Taoist Buddhist architecture in Sanqing mountain.
