Zhou Enlai Memorial

One of the representative works of Lushan villa is Marshall in 1946, Leighton Stuart in 1948 and the place where Zhou Enlai lived in 1961. Since 1990, the villa has been changed into "Premier Zhou Enlai's Memorial Hall in Lushan".

Zhou Enlai Memorial

Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall is located in Hexi Road villa area, hundreds of meters away from Guling street. Premier Zhou Enlai attended three Lushan meetings. He lived here during the central working conference in 1961.

Introduction to scenic spots

This villa was built by American missionaries in 1905. At the end of 1945, Marshall, the special envoy of the US president, came to China to mediate the conflict between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, and in August 1946, he went to Lushan to meet with Chiang Kai Shek. In 1948, Chinese Ambassador Leighton Stuart also lived here. In order to commemorate the beloved Premier Zhou, this villa was set up as a "memorial room for Comrade Zhou Enlai's activities in Lushan Mountain" in 1990 to display precious objects and photos and introduce Premier Zhou's revolutionary practice and main achievements in Lushan Mountain.
