Imam asmuza
Located 9.5km northeast of Jiya township government and on the southern edge of Taklimakan Desert. There are two tombs. It is said that two brothers, Yimamu asmu and Yimamu ashmu, were buried.
It has a history of more than 1000 years. The existing tombs are in the sand dunes. In 1938, Muslim believers donated money to build a chapel on the sand dunes in the southeast of Mazha, 30 meters long and 15 meters wide, with two vigil rooms. A well was dug 50 meters northwest of Mazha. In 1958, the worship temple was demolished.
From April to May every year, believers from Kashgar, Aksu and Hotan gather here for a long journey to worship, with 5000 to 10000 people, forming a grand gathering.
Yimamu asmuza is a key cultural relic protection unit in the autonomous region.
