Located in Sanjiang village, Yongfeng Town, Linhai City, Zhejiang Province, Sanjiang National Urban Wetland Park is located at the confluence of Lingjiang River, Yongan River and Shifeng river. It is not only the first National Wetland Park in Taizhou City, but also a typical tidal wetland park in the world. Because the key characteristic reserve is at the confluence of Yongan River, Shifeng River and Lingjiang River, it is named Sanjiang.

Sanjiang National Urban Wetland Park in Linhai City, Zhejiang Province is low-lying, with a large area of river, river fork and pond. It has a unique tidal wetland landscape. There are 885 species of organisms in the park, including 381 species of plants and 504 species of animals, including 2 species of national key protected wild plants, 7 species of national class II protected animals and 23 species of invasive species.

Historical evolution

On February 6, 2007, the Ministry of Construction issued a notice to approve Sanjiang National Urban Wetland Park in Linhai City of Zhejiang Province as a national urban wetland park.

In July 2009, the biological resources survey of Sanjiang National Urban Wetland Park in Linhai City, Zhejiang Province was launched, and passed the assessment in July 2010.

On November 1, 2010, the Ministry of housing and urban rural development of the people's Republic of China officially awarded the license to Sanjiang National Urban Wetland Park.

On November 8, 2010, the first phase construction of Sanjiang National Urban Wetland Park in Linhai City, Zhejiang Province officially started.

Regional scope

Sanjiang National Urban Wetland Park, Linhai City, Zhejiang Province, is located in 28 ° 51 ′ 42.42 ″ - 28 ° 53 ′ 25.07 ″ N and 121 ° 02 ′ 57.41 ″ - 121 ° 05 ′ 36.16 ″ e, with Baima Mountain and Fenghuang mountain. It is about 1300 meters long from north to South and 6000 meters long from east to west, including the Lingjiang River, which is 6000 meters long and 250 meters wide, with a total area of 7.76 square kilometers.

Main attractions

Riverside Wetland Reserve

The riverside Wetland Reserve has a wide river surface, mild climate, dense islands in the river and beautiful natural scenery. The area covers an area of 2.97 square kilometers, including 50-100 meters wide fir forest on both sides of the river and 250 meters wide Lingjiang river. The planning of the area focuses on the shelter belt on both sides of Lingjiang River as the center, relying on the aquatic fir forest, appropriately arranging vacation and amusement facilities, and carrying out leisure and popular science activities based on water culture and wetland ecological culture. It is composed of aquatic fir forest, tidal flat along the river, wetland science observation points, etc.

Wetland production area

The wetland production area is located in the northwest corner of Sanjiang wetland, at the intersection of Shifeng River and Yong'an River, with an area of 0.7 square kilometers. It is mainly used to build flower production base by using the river beach depression, water bamboo field and beach bank. It can not only produce and sell, but also be used as flowers and bonsai for tourists to enjoy.

The planning points of wetland production area mainly reflect the ecological and pastoral scenery of wetland, produce green agricultural and sideline products, and provide visitors to watch and work. It can be used as a base for youth production and labor education in Linhai City and nearby areas. The countryside in this area is neat and open, with the fragrance of rice, wheat, melons and fruits, fish, shrimp and river full of ponds, and simple folk customs.

The large-scale water, flowers, fields and grass, abstract forms, dynamic lines and natural materials in the flower exhibition area build a grand earth art; the jumping colors, active landscape points, large area of lawn terrain, clear rivers and long linear canals. Using the advantages of rich water resources and fertile land, we can introduce investors to build flower production base, which can not only produce and sell, but also be used as flowers and bonsai for tourists to enjoy.

The agricultural landscape area pursues the aesthetic feeling of scale, with crisscross field paths, Waterscape, grass slope, such as yellow flowers, and colorful windmills placed on the high grass slope, forming a unique pastoral landscape with the whole crop as the background.

Butterfly Valley uses the valley formed by the height difference between the stream and the ridge to plant aquatic plants along the stream beside the ridge to attract butterflies, birds, bees and so on. The wetland ecological landscape is full of flavor.

Sanjiang Folk Village

Sanjiang folk village is located in the northeast of the intersection of Shifeng River and Lingjiang river. On the basis of retaining Sanjiang village, it develops farmhouse entertainment. It mainly includes fruit picking base, vegetable adoption garden, Sanjiang folk village, Baima Mountain Scenic Area, paddy field crop area and water fishing garden, covering an area of 1.1 square kilometers.

In Sanjiang folk village, there is an ancient village folk museum, with Chinese style villages, tree totem pillars and other landmark buildings. The original scattered ancient houses are preserved, and various ancient houses, bamboo buildings, thatched cottages, pavilions, teahouses, theatres and so on are added. Tourists can enjoy tea and watch performances at the same time.
