Hongshiya

Hongshiya sub district office is located on the West Bank of Jiaozhou Bay. It is named after the red earth rock on Haiya.

According to the Republic of China Edition of "additional Jiaozhi · territory", it was called Hongshiya in the late Qing Dynasty.

Historical evolution

In 1897, the German invaders occupied Qingdao and set up the Jiao'ao concession. The following year, German businessmen set up a kiln to make bricks and tiles in Hongshiya kiln. After liberation, they developed into Qingdao Haixi brick and tile factory, and gradually established three major building materials Industrial Enterprises: Jiaonan building materials factory, cement factory and glass factory. In the 1990s, relying on the three major building materials enterprises of Dayao, foreign capital was introduced to establish float glass, Zhenya glass, embossed glass and other enterprises, becoming an important building materials industrial base on the west coast of Qingdao. Hongshiya town benefits from Jiaozhou Bay and prospers with the development and construction of Qingdao. In history, water and land transportation is convenient, industry is the first to set up modern industry in Jiaonan City, and transportation and commerce are also prosperous.

From 1926 to 1929, Hongshiya had three operating lines, Jiaoxian Hongshiya line, Hongshiya Juxian line and Jiaoqing Hongshiya line. There were 11 passenger and freight vehicles. There is a wharf on the north side of Hongshiya, which forms an important shipping line of Qingdao with Xiaogang and tabu. There are four freighters, such as China shenbiao and Japan Baoqing, going to Hongshiya wharf every single day. In the 1930s and 1940s, Hongshiya was an important commercial market town in Haixi District of Qingdao. According to the records of jiaoao, "business is the most difficult thing to count. When it was established in Jiaonan County in 1949, Hongshiya was designated as the eighth district;

In 1958, it was changed into Hongshiya Township and Dongfanghong people's commune;

In 1959, it was changed into Hongshiya people's commune;

The town was established in 1984. Since the 1960s, the town has carried out five administrative divisions reform.

In 1962, five villages including Qianwan and Wopeng were set up and Huangdao people's commune was established;

In 1973, xiaoshitou village was put under Xin'an commune;

In 1976, Xu Gezhuang and shiziyuan were assigned to the working committee of Huangdao District, and 10 villages such as Erhe and zhangxiaozhuang of wangjiadao were assigned to Wangtai commune;

In 1996, eight villages including Zhanggezhuang and fajiayuan were assigned to Huangdao office;

On January 1, 2004, the renovation system of Hongshiya town was put under the jurisdiction of Huangdao District.

In May 2005, a street office was set up in Hongshiya town.

In June 2015, Dayin, Xiaoyin, guanjiadacun and Dayao of Hongshiya Street Four community neighborhood committees are under the jurisdiction of Huangdao sub district. Six administrative villages, including Yapeng, dayangjia, xiaoyangjia, Zhuguo, beimalian and qianmalian in Wangtai Town, and four community neighborhood committees, including dakuang, xiaokuang, Beizhuang and songjiayin in lingzhushan sub district, are merged with Hongshiya sub district (except for the four community neighborhood committees already under the jurisdiction of Huangdao sub district) to form a new Hongshiya sub district.

——In June 2015, the original six administrative villages of Wangtai Town, including Yagu, dayangjia, xiaoyangjia, Zhuguo, beimalian and qianmalian, and the four community neighborhood committees of lingzhushan street, including dakuang, xiaokuang, Beizhuang and songjiaying, merged with Hongshiya Street (except the four community neighborhood committees that have been under the jurisdiction of Huangdao Street) to form a new Hongshiya street.

Industrial economy

The area covers the ring Jiaozhou Bay expressway, high-voltage line corridor, north of Jiaozhou Bay Railway, south of Jiaozhou Bay coastline, west of Longquan River and east of Hongshiya line 37. The total area is 23.62 square kilometers. The functional zone consists of six areas, including export processing zone, petrochemical industry zone, supporting service zone, logistics industry zone, Longquan North Industrial Zone and Longquan South industrial zone. Mainly in high value-added processing, fine chemical, mechanical processing, petrochemical, modern logistics and other industries.

1. Export processing zone: the area covers the south of line 8, the north of line 14, the east of zhusong road and the west of Qinghong expressway. It is mainly high value-added processing industry and high-tech industry. Taking Kunlun mountain road as the boundary, it is divided into two zones A and B. the west zone is zone B, which is mainly high value-added processing industry with an area of 2.19 square kilometers. The east zone is zone a, which is mainly high-tech industry with an area of 2.26 square kilometers,

2. Petrochemical Industrial Zone: the planned area covers the east of Qinghong expressway, the north of Jiaozhou Jinan railway, the south of Jiaozhou Bay coastline and the west of line 37, with a total land area of 3.39 square kilometers. Mainly in oil refining and petrochemical industry.

3. Supporting service area: the area covers the east of line 13, the south of line 14, the north of Jiaohuang railway and the west of Qinghuang expressway, with a total land area of 1.85 square kilometers. It is planned that the area will be a supporting service area for the large industrial base, mainly for administrative office, commercial finance, residential and some industrial land.

4. Modern logistics industrial zone: the area is planned to be east of Kunlun Mountain Road, north of ring Jiaozhou Bay expressway, west of Hongshiya line 35 and south of the central area, with a land area of 5.9 square kilometers. It is planned to build an efficient and convenient logistics industrial zone by taking advantage of convenient transportation conditions.

Hongshiya sub district office is located on the West Bank of Jiaozhou Bay, in the north of Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone, facing the old urban area of Qingdao across the sea in the East and Wangtai town of Jiaonan City in the West. It is designated as the northern industrial new area of the development zone by the Working Committee (District Committee) and the Management Committee (district government), with a total area of 56.8 square kilometers, 38 community neighborhood committees and 33000 people, a coastline of 20 Li and a shallow beach area of 42000 mu.

Hongshiya sub district office is characterized by political stability, economic development, people's living and working in peace and contentment, and social civilization progress. Labor resources are very rich. There are more than 5000 employees in domestic and foreign-funded enterprises and private enterprises under the jurisdiction, including more than 1500 professional and technical personnel above secondary level, and more than 300 graduates from colleges and technical secondary schools every year.

Hongshiya sub district office has superior geographical location and convenient transportation. Jiaozhouwan expressway, huangzhang highway and Jiaohuang railway run through the town and connect with national highway 204, Tongsan expressway, Huangdao ferry and Qianwan port wharf. The office is 45 km away from the old urban area of Qingdao, 26 km away from Liuting Airport and 9 km away from Qianwan port wharf. It takes 30 minutes, 20 minutes and 10 minutes to drive respectively, forming a traffic network extending in all directions. It is the connection point between Jiaozhou Bay Bridge and Qinghong (Qingdao hongqilapu) expressway.

Hongshiya is rich in resources and complete in infrastructure construction. The daily power supply capacity is 350000 kW, the daily water supply capacity is 13000 m3, and the daily drainage capacity is 8000 m3. There are more than 100 domestic and foreign-funded enterprises, with more than 20 industries including glass products, building materials, cotton and wool textile, woodworking machinery, aquatic products processing, food processing, wood packaging, leather, handicrafts, rubber products, clothing embroidery, and partners from Japan, South Korea, the United States, Canada, Taiwan and other countries and regions.
