Main attractions
Scenery of the main peak
From Jiao Yulu memorial hall to the north, one kilometer's walk along a deep ditch of farmland and orchard leads to the winding road in front of the mountain. The artificial stone steps spiral up, which is worthy of the name of 72 winding road. This Qingshiban road was built in 1937 by Daizhuang, Beigushan and other villages. The main peak of Yueyang mountain is up the 72 pan road of Qingshiban. What you see is the simple temples and the communication and TV transmission towers. In the past, the peak was from the mountain to the top temple, but now it is the towering tower into the clouds. As you enter the mountain gate, the buildings and temples, and the cigarettes, you feel as if you have entered the pure land of Buddhism, the top of the mountain, which also makes you feel refreshed. Climbing on the main peak, you can see the rolling mountains, orderly farmland, and rural villages covered by green trees. Two kilometers to the east of the main peak of Yueyang mountain is the reclining Buddha of Yueyang mountain. The Buddha statues composed of several mountain tops are very similar to Maitreya Buddha sleeping peacefully. Not far from the east of the peak, there is an extremely dangerous immortal platform, which is really a fairyland on earth. There is also a 2-kilometer-long peach blossom Valley, which is like a deep Grand Canyon with dense woods, bushes and steep cliffs. The scenery is extremely beautiful. Looking down from the top of Yueyang mountain, there are thousands of gullies and abysses. It's really dizzy. Although the elevation of Yueyang mountain is only 811 meters, it is famous for its precipitousness, especially the precipice in front of the mountain. The precipice is like chopping a knife and chopping an axe. If you climb to the peak directly from the front of the mountain, it seems that only the explorers who climb the precipice dare to have a try. On the stone plaque at the South Gate of Guanyin Pavilion, there is the inscription "precipitous to the sky", which was written by sun Yixuan during the reign of Emperor Qianlong. From the inscription, we can see the precipitousness of Yueyang mountain.
Building complex
There was a saying that there were seven floors, eight pavilions and thirteen halls in the buildings on Yueyang mountain. It is impossible to find out whether there are any. However, judging from the broken walls destroyed by wars in the past dynasties, there used to be extremely grand buildings here.
Existing buildings
There are four courtyards reserved, including Beige courtyard, houtuzhenjun courtyard, Bixia Yuanjun courtyard and yuhuangdadi courtyard. The courtyards are simple and elegant in shape and well arranged, fully showing the superb architectural design art of the ancient working people. According to their imagination, folk artists in various academies created various kinds of immortals, some of them were kind and safe, some of them were vicious, which made people have a lot of imagination.
Historical Retrospection
The architecture on Yueyang mountain began in the Yuan Dynasty. It is recorded that the Shennong temple, also known as Tiankai temple, was rebuilt in 1536 A.D. in the 15th year of Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. After the reconstruction, it was called houtuzhenjun temple. This building can be regarded as the originator of architecture on Yueyang mountain. Bixia Yuanjun temple was built in the Qing Dynasty Kangxi Dingwei (AD 1667), engraved with "Bixia Zhujie" plaque. The back hall has two floors, the upper one is the Jade Emperor Palace, and the inscription "Jinque cloud Palace" on the forehead still shows its powerful and simple momentum. The whole building is in good order, with towering peaks. It is the highest building in the mountain. There are windows in the East and west of the Jade Emperor Palace. People say that on a sunny day, "you can watch the sunrise in the East and hope to see Dai in the west" (Dai: refers to Mount Tai) ". According to the local records of Boshan," the black clouds are seen in the southwest of the polar eye to brush the ground for Mount Tai. When you open its east window, you can see the sunrise in the East China Sea from a distance. "

The soldiers kept the door for it, that is, Erlang mountain, which is now the source. The two boys went to a flat cliff on the east side of Yueyang to play in their spare time, so they called this place Xianrentai. The Tathagata Buddha also came to Yueyang mountain and had a sleep here. Two kilometers to the east of the main peak of Yueyang mountain, there are several ups and downs on the top of the mountain, which are very much like a Buddha sleeping on his back. As for why grandma Taishan went to Mount Taishan, some said that grandma Taishan thought Yueyang mountain was not high enough and drew three whips, but the mountain didn't grow up, and there were still traces of being beaten by steel whips on the rocks half way up the mountain. Some say that once the Jade Emperor summoned grandma Taishan, and when she came back, she had a rest in Taishan. After a nap, the local people offered her up, said that they would let her move there, and promised to build a temple for her. Seeing that the local people were very devout, grandma Taishan went back to Yueyang mountain and put the top of Yueyang mountain on her sleeve Mouth night on the top of Mount Tai, Mount Tai is the peak of Yueyang. There are 100 mountain tops around Yueyang mountain, one of which is taken away by Taishan's grandmother, and then it becomes ninety-nine, which is the origin of Yueyang mountain.
