Daqing radio and television tower is located at No.1, Dongfeng Road, Saertu district. It is the third tallest radio and television tower in Asia, the second tallest in China and the highest in Heilongjiang Province. In 2003, it was rated as national 2A scenic spot.

The tower structure is tubular members, and the main tower body is composed of 729 main members, which is a space truss structure connected by high-strength torsional shear bolts. The tower foundation is a pile foundation structure with 141 open-ended steel piles, with an average depth of 27 meters. The total weight is 2600 tons. A three storey tower with a diameter of 20.6 meters is set at 147 meters to 259 meters of the tower. It is equipped with revolving dance hall, entertainment hall, outdoor sightseeing platform and other facilities for sightseeing.
