Introduction

Changtan Nature Reserve is located in the northwest of Jiaoling County, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, adjacent to Pingyuan County in the west, Xiaba Township, Wuping County, Fujian Province in the north and Changtan reservoir dam in the south. In January 2004, it was officially upgraded to a provincial nature reserve with a total area of 5585.7 hectares. Development history

Legend

The "blood spot stone" of yixiantian. It is said that at the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, Lin Danjiu, a patriot in Jiaoling, organized the villagers to fight against the invasion of Qing Dynasty. Later, he was defeated because he ran out of ammunition and food. After the failure, Lin Danjiu wrote a poem of Jueming life, which was "leaning against the cliff to gather the common people, the heart is as clear as the cold pool, the historian can't make it up, and the mountain spirit knows this lonely Zhen". He walked calmly to the top of the cliff, jumped down the cliff, splashed blood into the deep valley, and died bravely. Later, within a day, there was a stone that was maroon red and bloodstained. It was old for months, washed with water and sand, and did not fade. Local people said that it was a "bloodstained stone" dyed by Lin Danjiu's blood.

"Canna" is on the horizon. It is said that a long time ago, on a clear night, several lonely Fairies in the heaven stole out of the palace to peep at the lower world. When their eyes moved to Changtan, they could not help exclaiming in unison: what a beautiful landscape! They forgot the rules of heaven, moved their hearts, and decided to play in the world. The fairies press the cloud head and fall on the Bank of the Changtan river. They break a branch and shake it into oars. They pick a leaf and make a boat. They swim leisurely. They play boating and sing and laugh, which makes the water people in the pool admire and watch. In the middle of the night, they abandoned the boat and went ashore, along the mountain road, into a line of days, but saw the waterfall straight down, the water was as clear as a mirror, beautiful, the fairies could not help but take off their coats, one by one jumped into the pool, chasing the water. Unknowingly, the birds chirp, the day is already bright, the fairies can not return to heaven, so they become graceful Canna, as if always smiling to welcome visitors from all directions.

Gaotai nunnery

Gaotai nunnery is located on the hillside on the right side of Changtan tourist area, one of the "100 scenic spots in southern Guangdong" in the north of Jiaoling city. The situation is precipitous. The mountain is more than 800 meters high. There is a flat ground on the top of the mountain, about 30 square meters wide. It is like Gaotai nunnery. A temple is built here, which is named Gaotai nunnery. Gaotai nunnery is also known as the golden turtle hanging wall. There is a folk legend about the construction of this nunnery. It is said that in the early years of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty, there was an old man, Wu Rongchang, who lived as a ferry in Changsha. He sailed at sunrise and lived as a boat at night. The moon is clear and bright, and you can enjoy the scenery on your back. You can enjoy the scenery on your own. One day, Rongchang got up early in the morning to make a fire and cook. He leaned over to scoop up water. Looking up, he saw a tortoise crawling on the half wall of Gaotai mountain. His eyes were shining like two bright lights. This was the scene for several days. Is it the mountain spirit or the gods? Rongchang was honest and upright. He lived a simple life. He did good deeds and accumulated virtues. He was known by the mountain people. He thought that the gods were pointing at him, so he sold it to Du. With his ordinary savings, he decided to build a temple where the golden turtle appeared. After several years of operation, he finally built a small nunnery on the mountain, called Gaotai nunnery. Gaotai temple has a history of more than 200 years. After several times of construction, it has become a famous temple. There are Guanyin Bodhisattva in the main hall, God of wealth on the right of the middle hall, dingguang ancient Buddha and Guandi on the left; there are three holy halls on the upper floor, and bell and drum towers on the top. It is one of the eight new sights in Changtan.

Fujian Guangdong Jiangxi Sakyamuni Cultural Center

The cultural center is located in the Changtan tourist area, one of the "100 scenic spots in southern Guangdong", 5 kilometers away from the county seat and 50 kilometers away from Meizhou city. The cultural center is surrounded by the evergreen Jiulong mountains, the caves are surrounded by rivers, and the environment is beautiful. It covers an area of more than 20 mu, with a construction area of 5000 square meters. It is a folk style with the essence of foreign architectural art. It is magnificent, solemn and magnificent. The main hall is a four storey Singapore style Buddha Hall with a combination of Chinese and Western styles. The bottom floor is the Hakka cultural folk custom museum, which displays a series of folk custom objects, cultural relics, etc. of Hakka people since they moved to the south of the Central Plains. Australia Villa

Hongqizi, Longfei she, is located on the Bank of Changtan reservoir in Changtan tourist area. Located at the entrance of Changtan tourist area, Huxing mountain covers an area of 218 mu.
