Yangxian Kaiming Temple Tang relic tower is located in Kaiming square in the center of Yangxian county. It was built in the heyday of Kaiyuan in the Tang Dynasty and repaired once in the Song Dynasty, with a history of more than 1000 years. In 1957, it was listed as a key cultural relic in Shaanxi Province. In 2006, it was listed as a national protected cultural relic.
There used to be a large temple called Kaiming temple where the tower is located. Therefore, this pagoda is also called "Kaiming Temple Pagoda". The tower is shaped like a water chestnut, exquisite and elegant. The tower is about 30 meters high and has 13 floors. According to the folk song, "there is a water chestnut tower in Yangxian County, only two feet eight from the sky.". Its tower structure is exquisite and unique, hollow, Xumi seat, the height and diameter of each layer gradually reduce from bottom to top. Above the second floor, there are niches and pagodas on each side of each floor, and there are stone Buddha statues in the niches. There are 50 niches and 100 pagodas. There are wind bells on all sides of each layer. On a moonlit night, the pagoda is covered with silver, the evening wind blows, and the wind chimes tinkle, just like a fairyland in the Moon Palace. Ancient Chinese described her as "the world of high dust in Yuli, and the Vatican King terrace in longangxian".
