In ancient times, Baiyangba was connected to maotiancao, the only way to see Tianba. The mountains and forests were thick, and the trees covered the sun. The sky could be seen only at maotiancao, so it was named. Originating at the foot of Hanchi mountain, the waterfall has a rain bearing area of 20 square kilometers. It flies down Longtan at a flow rate of about 0.2 cubic meters per second through jingshuiwo and wachanggou. The lake is oval, with an area of about 20 square meters. The water is clear, deep inside and shallow outside. The overflowing water flows through Shimenkan, Yanjiao and Guihua bridge of Jiantianba hydropower station, with a flow length of 11.5km, into Qingjiang River.

Jiantianba waterfall is one of the largest waterfalls in Lichuan. It is more than 40 meters high. In spring and summer with abundant rainfall, it is even more spectacular. The curtain of the waterfall is hanging and the silver flowers are splashing. In winter and autumn, the curtain of the waterfall is raining and the fog is striking. There are many charming landscapes around. At the mouth of maotiancao gorge, strange peaks and stones are everywhere. It is said that there are two peaks in the history, which are divided in the morning and in the evening. They are more majestic than the United States. Later, one peak was destroyed by lightning, so it is named. Now Baiyang town "Leida" village is also named after it. Entering the trough, you can hear the roar of the waterfall, shake the canyon and respond to the mountain. Not far from the waterfall, there is an old ginkgo tree in Sanlu brigade. It has a diameter at breast height, vigorous and straight, and the crown is like an umbrella. It's very beautiful. It's hard for visitors to leave. There is a poem praising:
