Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture Museum is located in the eastern foot of Fenghuang, Enshi City. It is the largest regional comprehensive minority museum with the richest cultural relics collection in Hubei Province. It is also the Central Museum for the display, storage and research of minority cultural relics in Hubei Province. The Museum covers an area of about 33400 square meters, with pleasant scenery. The main building is a four story display and warehouse complex with national architectural style, with an area of 3500 square meters, including 2000 square meters of exhibition area. There are 17 staff members, including office, exhibition department, storage department, Archaeology Department and security department.

Development history
Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture Museum, formerly known as Enshi regional cultural relics team, was renamed Enshi regional museum in September 1976 and Western Hubei Autonomous Prefecture Museum in December 1983. In April 1993, as the Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Western Hubei changed its name to Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, it was also changed to Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture Museum, which is still in use today. It was officially opened to the outside world in December 1996.
Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture Museum is located in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in the west of Hubei Province, "Jingchu in the East, Guizhou and Chongqing in the west, Xiaoxiang in the south pole, and Central Plains in the north". Collection
Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture Museum has a collection of 70000 cultural relics (traditional measurement), mainly reflecting the Ba culture, cliff burial culture, Tusi culture, as well as historical, folk and revolutionary cultural relics of ethnic customs. The objects of Ba culture are the most precious, while Tusi culture and cliff burial culture are unique. The museum has special exhibitions such as Ba Feng Tu Yun and red land. "Ba folk rhyme" is the first comprehensive display of Ba culture and Tujia culture in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture Museum in 30 years. A total of 678 pieces of cultural relics are displayed, including "tiger button jueyu", "Ba style chime bell", "Ba style spear", "Ba style sword" used by Ba people, and "Tusi hat" and "Tusi sword" unearthed from local minority areas It is a precious cultural relic, such as the seal of the chief executive, the Golden Phoenix crown used by the wife of the chieftain.
