The temple is mainly for Sakyamuni, Guanbu, zhamusulun and other Buddha statues. Because Shouning Temple once collected Mongolian Ganzhuer Sutra, it is also named Ganzhuer temple.

Construction time
The temple was approved by the emperor in 1771 and built by the Qing government. In 1773, the foundation was broken. In the 50th year of Qianlong, Emperor Qianlong gave the temple a title and inscribed the plaque of "Shouning Temple". Before and after the temple, there are 11 temples, 4 Temple warehouses and more than 100 Jialan rooms, with a total construction area of more than 10000 square meters. The largest number of lamas in the temple was more than 4000, of which more than 400 were permanent residents.
Other events
In 1785, the first temple fair was held in Ganzhuer temple. Since then, more than 160 temple fairs have been held in more than 180 years, and it has become a famous "Ganzhuer market". The temple fair is a gathering of Japanese merchants, who come from Hailar, Manzhouli, Qiqihar, Harbin, Tianjin, Beijing and other places near, and Mongolian, Russian, Japanese, European and American merchants far away.
At the beginning of 2001, from the perspective of protecting historical and cultural heritage, developing and utilizing cultural tourism resources, the new balhuzuo banner Committee and government decided to rebuild Ganzhuer temple, so that this once famous national and religious holy land at home and abroad could stand on the beautiful and rich balhuzuo grassland again.
On August 30, 2001, a grand foundation laying ceremony was held at the original site of Ganzhuer temple. After 3 years and 11 months of construction, the main project of Ganzhuer temple was basically completed, including 11330 square meters of courtyard and 2218.7 square meters of temple. The main temple has been completed. Suokchin temple, the main temple, has an area of 646 square meters and a height of 17.5 meters. In the temple, there are 46 bright pillars with golden dragons on the surface. In front of the pillars, there is a high eaves building. On the top, there is a bronze plated Sutra wheel symbolizing Buddhism. On the edge of the Sutra wheel are inlaid with coral and jadeite, which is a school of jewels. There is a gilded dog on each side of the wheel, symbolizing the prosperity of Buddhism. At the top of the main hall, there is a gold pagoda made of metal in the middle. The corners of the pagoda are set off by somsan. From a distance, the gold is shining, and the bronze bells are hanging under the corners, making a pleasant sound from time to time. On the lintel of qianbaoxia, there are painted colorful pictures of Tang monks and disciples learning from the west, as well as "six character mantra" in Mongolian. The reconstruction project of Ganzhuer temple has invested 30 million yuan, and has completed more than 10 million yuan through various channels such as private fund-raising, investment promotion and government investment. On July 18, 2003, the opening ceremony of Ganzhuer temple was held. At the same time, the people's Nadam meeting of Hulunbuir city was held. The living Buddhas, abbots and other well-known religious personages from various famous temples in China visited Ganzhuer temple for hosting, worshiping Buddha, chanting sutras and other ritual activities, and welcomed many guests and friends at home and abroad to gather at the grand gathering.
Traffic information
