Baidao Lake

"Baidao Lake" is located in Wujing town in the upper reaches of Changshui River in Nanxiong, Guangdong Province. It is about 40 km away from the urban area of Nanxiong. It is a virgin lake to be developed. "Baidao Lake" is a large-scale artificial lake formed after the completion of Kongjiang reservoir, the largest reservoir in Nanxiong, which was built artificially in the 1960s. It has a rainfall collection area of 79.4 square kilometers, a maximum inventory of 69.43 million cubic meters, and can irrigate 110000 mu of farmland. Because there are 263 "islands" of different sizes distributed in the reservoir, the lake is known as "hundred Island Lake" because of its unique blue water, beautiful natural scenery and beautiful ecological environment.

It is comparable to the famous "Thousand Island Lake" in Hangzhou. "Baidao Lake" is located in the two Gorges, and the main dam of the river rises across the two mountains. Around the reservoir area, a typical karst landform is formed. There are vast rivers and lakes, jade like islands, deep valleys, magical caves and colorful scenery. When you climb on the top of the dam and look around, you can see that there are green hills, hundreds of islands, mountains and rivers, and the same color of the sky and water; the vast Pinghu Lake and the long gaozhen; the spring breeze and the fragrance of flowers. If you take a boat, cruise on the picturesque lake and slide along the winding lakeshore, the scenery will be varied, interesting and poetic. If you look up from the bottom of the dam, it is equivalent to a dam with a height of 10 storeys, such as the top of Mount Tai. In case of mountain torrents, the flood discharge from the dam is like ten thousand horses galloping over the river and sea, turbulent and rocking. After many visitors were lucky to watch the scene, they all praised the trip.
