Bo and the old city of Lu
The old town of Boyu road is located in Jincheng Town, Kedong County. "Puyu" is a word of Nuzhen language, which means "Wuyuer". It means "low-lying land" or "waterlogged land" in Nuzhen language.
Lu Gucheng Scenic Area
The ancient city is close to the South Bank of Wuyuer, lying in the arms of swamp meadows in the northeast and West. It echoes with Kedong County and Erke mountain, a scenic spot 7.5km to the southeast. Seven kilometers to the southwest is the seat of Jincheng township government of Kedong County, and four kilometers to the north is Qibei railway across Wuyuer river
.
The plan of the old city site is oval, with a base width of 23 meters, a top width of 1.5 meters, and a residual height of 1.7-3.28 meters. There are two South and north gates. There are urn walls outside the gate, and a moat 10 meters outside. Most of them have been silted up, and some sections are still clear. There are a number of large and small earth carvings in the city, which are architectural sites.
Uyur River
Because Wuyuer river is a large inland river, its banks are low-lying. In rainy season, the river inundates a large area of fields on both banks, forming a large area of swamp grassland. As a result, Puyu Road governance has a special shape - oval, lying in the East, North and West swamps. It is not difficult to see that at the beginning, it was not only a beautiful place for fishing and hunting, but also a military important place with smooth water and land, easy to defend and difficult to attack.
Ancient buildings in the old city
South Gate of old city
In 1975, the archaeological Department of Heilongjiang Provincial Museum excavated the South Gate of the old city, covering an area of 200 square meters. After excavation and cleaning, it is known that the gate is a lintel type single hole structure. There is a stone in the middle of the gate opening. The road inside the gate opening is paved with sand of river pebbles. The city building has already collapsed, and tile, tube tile and plate tile on the top of the leakage are scattered everywhere. The urn is full of stone bullets, iron arrowheads, armor pieces, and stirrups. The boards on the gatehouse were charred.
Northeast corner of the old city
In 1979, a building site in the northeast corner of the old city was excavated, covering an area of 500 square meters. The excavation revealed a large building site, the site of the government office. It is composed of the front hall and the back hall, with a back facing south and a construction area of 300 square meters. The back hall is the main part of the building. There are three rows of unprocessed plinths at the door of the room. The spacing of each row of plinths is about 4 meters. The East, West and south walls of the back hall are all built with green bricks, which are pressed along the bricks. The north wall is the earth wall. In the back hall, there is a fire Kang in the East and a stove in the northwest, which should be the living place of the government at that time.
Old town of Puyu Road
The determination of the old city of Puyu road provided an important geographical coordinate for the northern boundary of China from the 12th to the 13th century. More than 200 pieces of cultural relics, including pottery, porcelain, copper, iron, bone ware and copper coins, were excavated, which provided valuable information for future research.
