The main Museum of Guangdong Maritime Silk Road Museum, covering an area of about 130000 square meters and a construction area of nearly 20000 square meters, is the world's first underwater archaeology museum with the theme of excavation, protection, exhibition and research of the Song Dynasty ancient sunken ship "Nanhai I". It is a national second-class Museum and a national AAAA scenic spot. It is the only large-scale underwater archaeology museum in Asia Next to the Archaeological Museum.
