Cemetery Exhibition
Marshal Zhu De's autograph "revolutionary martyrs are immortal" is engraved on the front of the monument; the inscription "die for the people's interests" on the left is the handwriting of Marshal Xu Qianqian, commander in chief of Linfen's tough battle; on the right is the inscription of Comrade Wang Shiying, governor of Shanxi Province in the early days of the people's Republic of China: "bravely crown the three armies, air cover the world, resist Japanese aggressors, annihilate stubborn enemies, and forge victory with blood"; fenliuju Xiu, Gu she's admiring, fighting for peace, freedom, and heroes for the benefit of the society; on the back side is the inscription of Comrade Tao Lujia, Secretary of the provincial Party committee, "martyr's ambition brings new heaven.". In addition, there are also antique style gatehouses, rest pavilions, "Linfen tackling difficulties" exhibition hall, "revolutionary hero Memorial Hall", "Linfen construction achievements" exhibition hall, ashes hall, as well as corridors, rockeries, winding paths, fountains, etc. These buildings are exquisitely designed and well laid out. Around the building, Holly is the hedge, pines and cypresses are the scenery, and the flowers compete for glory, wonder and beauty, with colorful colors. The two rows of cedars on the left and right sides of the monument to the people's heroes were planted by all members of the Shanxi provincial Advisory Committee in 1987, while the 40 cedars in front of the martyrs' cemetery were planted by the "Linfen brigade" of the Chinese people's Liberation Army to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the liberation of Linfen. These pines and cypresses planted in memory of the revolutionary martyrs grow strong and green all the year round under the hard cultivation of the cemetery workers, which enriches the landscape of the cemetery and adds vitality to the cemetery.
On the small square behind the monument, five brick domed cemeteries are lined up to store the remains of the martyrs. In front of the tomb stands a stone tablet engraved with the martyr's name; on both sides of the tomb are carved couplets written by famous calligraphers in the provincial capital. From west to East, they are as follows: the martyrs wear gold armour and go through the wind and rain in Sichuan; Yu Qingsong in the cemetery locks the clouds in Yuanling. The spirit of the times, the red stars shine on the world, and the songs of praising the achievements of heroes move the cemetery. The heroic pioneered the tough battle, and Guanghua was always in woniu city. Pines and cypresses stand upright against the wind and frost; fragrant flowers recommend the spirits of the martyrs. Liang Huoshan, a high martyr, has made great achievements, while Tang Yu, a long history, has prospered the country and ushered in a new era. These couplets, solemn and elegant, vigorous and inspiring, fully express Linfen people's admiration and nostalgia for the revolutionary martyrs. The cemetery has been open for many years, and tourists come to pay homage to the martyrs every day.
