Shimengou grassland Park

Shimengou grassland park is about 13 kilometers westward from Huazang temple in Tianzhu County. However, there is a confrontation between the two mountains. It is named "Shimen" because it is built in a narrow gate like ditch. Not far from the inner side of the Shimen temple is Shimen temple, which was built in the early years of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty. In Tibetan, it is called "Yalong turqin Gadan xianbalang", which means youximiya island. It was built by the living Buddha of Danba in Tibet It was founded in the early years of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty. In the ninth year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1652 AD), the fifth Dalai Lama went to Shimen temple to lecture on his way to Beijing. In the 60th year of Kangxi (1721 AD), the Sixth Dalai Lama Cangyangjiacuo came to Shimen temple to serve as a Buddhist platform. The existing precious cultural relics include: the remains of the fifth Dalai Lama and the Ming Dynasty stone statue Guangming female Buddha.

About 4 kilometers ahead, Tianzhu County Sports Committee and Shimen township government invested 200000 yuan to build a 36 Mu international standard Racecourse on the right side of the toll gate of "Tianzhu Three Gorges scenic area". With the unique and wonderful mountain trend, 15 kilometers away from the entrance of Shimen gorge, you can see the source of Shimen river. Among the green and emerald mountains, a white stone cliff appears, which looks like a giant dragon. The shady side of the mountain is unusually loose and proud, and the sunny side of the mountain is full of emerald. It rushes down the mountain, and 108 clear springs emerge from the cracks of the huge stones. This is the famous medicinal fountain. The spring has normal temperature all the year round, and its color is dark blue. Drinking it can beautify the stomach and treat eye diseases. Beside the spring, there is a stone tablet engraved in Tibetan, indicating that each spring has different effects. The environment here is quiet, the air is humid, fresh and pleasant, and the average temperature from June to October is about 18 ℃. It is an excellent resort for summer vacation and recuperation.
