Jiaxing city wall was demolished in 1928. In 1999, Wangwu building was rebuilt at the old site of Beimen when Jiaxing City was carrying out the transformation of the green belt around the city. Now Wangwu building has become an important leisure place for citizens. Especially wangwumen square.
