Meihuazhou

Meihuazhou, located in Fengqiao town, Nanhu District, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, is the birthplace of Majiabang culture, Songze culture and Liangzhu culture. The stone Buddha Temple was built here in the third year of the Yongchu period of the dingsong Dynasty in the Southern Dynasty. It was named meihuazhou because of its five petal shape, lush vegetation, winding paths and rivers. It has a history of more than 1500 years. After 15 centuries of ups and downs, the river texture of meihuazhou block is still well preserved, which can be called a miracle.

Meihuazhou, a thousand year old historical site with splendid civilization, is named "meihuazhou" because of its zigzag and crisscross rivers, which divide the terrain into five parts like a plum blossom. Jiaxing urban area: go southward to Fanggong road or Nanhu Avenue in the urban area to Sanhuan South Road, turn left and go eastward to T-junction, turn right to Nanbei Lake Avenue, go southward and go straight through Huandao, then turn left at the first intersection to enter Yuyun line, and go straight for about 4 km.

Ancient stone Buddha Temple

The ancient stone Buddha Temple is a famous temple in the south of the Yangtze River. In the second year of emperor suzong Zhide of Tang Dynasty (757), four underground stone Buddhas were excavated due to the land of Pingzhi, which was named "stone Buddha Temple"; in Song Dynasty, it was called "Baosheng Temple"; in early Ming Dynasty, it was called "stone Buddha Temple" for short. After that, there were many catastrophes and ruins. In 2005, the temple was rebuilt, and in 2009, it was selected as the "new 12 sceneries of Nanhu", and the Millennium Temple finally regained its glory.
