Main attractions
Grandstand
The big and small stands are the two best viewing points on the top of the eagle nest. The grand stand stands out of the sea, 186 meters above sea level. Some big stones look like lotus flowers in bud, so it is also called Hebao peak. It covers an area of nearly 10 mu. There are three big characters "yingkeding" on the stone wall, as well as cliff carvings such as "the sun and the moon rise to the sky and rise to the sky", "the sea and sky are the same color" and "badger room". There is a small Putuo cave on the cliff. Pilgrims often come here to seek seclusion. On the stone there is a stone pavilion named "the moon imprints the sun's heart", which was built in 1989 by Yongan silk printing and dyeing factory in Shupu. On the pillars of the pavilion are two couplets: "the sea and the sky shine, the sun and the moon shine, the sound and color of the two lakes" and "yongjiao, the sun and the moon stay on the two walls, and the sea and the mountain share a lake".
Small stand
Located in Tai Kan Taipei, also known as Lianhua peak, the small stand covers an area of about one mu. On the stone wall, there are stone carvings such as "spectacular lake and sea" and "double waves". Double waves refer to the integration of Haitao and Songtao. Between the grandstands and grandstands, there is a "Oriental harbor" measuring sign, which is in the shape of a garden column and numbered 072. It was proposed by Dr. Sun Yat sen in the "national strategy" in the early years of the Republic of China, and was established by the Construction Committee of the Oriental harbor. The sign is now hidden in Yunxiu nunnery.
other
Under the small stand, there are rock scenes such as Chi Jing rock, he Zhang rock and Shi tou rock.
Ancient records
Mr. Zhang Yuanji, a famous publisher in the late Qing Dynasty, wrote the article "watching the sun at the top of the eagle nest" and published the fourth volume of the latest small Chinese textbook. The article said: "if the paper-cut is a full moon, the sun will move back and forth, and you will not leave for a while. The sun is two or three feet from the sea, but it's gone. " In recent years, more and more people have been watching the "simultaneous rise of the sun and the moon" in recent years, especially Professor Xie Bingsong of Hangzhou Institute of education. From 1980 to 89, he went to the top of the eagle nest to observe the simultaneous rise of the sun and the moon for ten years in a row. He used the knowledge of astronomy, geography, meteorology, biology and other disciplines to write the book "Research on the simultaneous rise of the sun and the moon". Chen Congzhou wrote a preface for it, saying, "I love this scenic spot of North and South lakes with literati temperament, which is still unknown today. However, its beauty of connotation is thought-provoking, and people can go around it. The spectacular sight of" sun and moon rising together "is not only a sight seeing, but also a great lake and mountain, which awakens people to love their country and love their country."
