Huaqiao Tzu Chi Palace
Huaqiao Tzu Chi palace is located in the west of the north section of south Zhongshan Road, Licheng District, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. It was built in the reign of Shaoxing of Song Dynasty (1131-1162). Wu Ben (979-1036 Army), a famous doctor of Quanzhou in the Northern Song Dynasty, was worshipped as Huaji and yunchong. Fujian and Taiwan are honored as Wu Zhenren, Daogong, Huaqiao Gong and Baosheng emperor. According to historical records, his whole life was "famous for his medicine, his idea was to help people and save things, but he didn't take money from others" and "he didn't have high or low rank in his medical profession, and he gave medicine according to his illness, just like yapo". Huaqiao is the former site of his medical practice.

Huaqiao Tzu Chi palace, also known as immortal temple, is commonly known as "Huaqiao altar". Since ancient times, this place has been a flower market. There is a stone bridge on the baguagou, so it is named "there is an altar on the bridge, summer rains, winter prays for cold, and traders depend on it".
Historical evolution
In 1878, the gentry and businessmen of Quanzhou advocated the establishment of Quanzhou County pharmacy Bureau in Huaqiao palace. They collected a wide range of medicine sources and widely applied them to the people, so as to carry forward the spirit of Wu Zhenren's medical service and help the world. Guangxu six years (1880) renamed Quanzhou government pesticide Bureau.
In the 23rd year of Guangxu (1897), plague was rampant in quanjun county. Huaqiao palace applied medicine for coffins, gave relief to orphans and poverty-stricken people, and did a lot of charity works to save the dead and heal the wounded, help the poor and relieve the disaster. That year, it was renamed Huaqiao palace charity office. Under the jurisdiction of the charity office, the administration mainly donates medicine and medicine, and also conducts charitable undertakings such as coffin donation, new year's relief and disaster relief. For more than 100 years, it has won the support and sponsorship of all walks of life, enthusiasts, overseas Chinese at home and abroad, compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and religious circles. It has constantly donated medicine and love throughout the year.
In the 1950s, it was renamed Quanzhou patriotic medicine Donation Office. In 1978, the old name of Huaqiao was restored, which was called Huaqiao medicine Donation Office. On March 18, 1985, when the free clinic was resumed, it was still called Quanzhou Huaqiao medicine donation clinic, which has been practicing medicine for 121 years.
