Daxian mountain is located 12 kilometers northwest of Guyang County, with an area of 15 square kilometers. In particular, there is a huge stone, which is full of Mongolian, Tibetan, Sanskrit and other words. It is extremely mysterious and no one can decipher it. It is known as the "heavenly stone". In the mountains, there are hundreds of birds singing, weeds growing, elms hanging upside down, and wild flowers dotted. It's like a fairyland for people to travel among them. It is said that there is a master who has been practicing here for many years. Later, his miraculous skills become more and more successful, and finally he becomes an immortal. After that, the monks worshiped and there was a lot of incense in the mountains, so daxianshan got its name.

Development history

After all, legends are legends. In reality, why can the desert outside the great wall form such a landscape with strange rocks as its appearance? Is it possible to achieve it through what force? Is it the uplift of the sea floor? Is it the result of weathering? Or the erosion of water? It seems that they are not exactly like each other, but they may all participate in it. Its scenery often reminds people of the Huaguo Mountain in Bayan Obo and the stone mountain behind the habutu hasar Memorial Hall in xinbaolige township. But after the analysis, I don't think so. If there is something in common, it is that these rocky mountains are all formed in the desert, and more importantly, they have irreplaceable uniqueness in the basis of their formation, such as shape, color, structure, distribution, rock types, stress conditions and formation age, etc. Looking down from a high place, the light matches the color of the rock itself. The whole mountain has a kind of picturesque feeling. Coupled with several similar mountains in recent years, we feel that Daxian mountain has superior taste. The mystery of Daxian mountain lies in the fact that the whole ancient text carved on a huge stone in the mountain has not been deciphered. But it's certainly not a Hun, Xianbei or Rouran relic. Because Xiongnu, Xianbei and Rouran had no words. These ancient characters give people the feeling of similar rock paintings, the same simple, Cangyuan, unique. With the help of myth, people can only say that Kangyue's Daosheng empress transformed her Scripture aphorism on the stone with magic power, so as to inspire future generations. Even some people can find the natural stone inscription of "Kangyue", saying that this is the evidence.

After textual research, some experts in Baotou believe that these texts are Tibetan, probably ancient Tibetan, just like the Tibetan scriptures on the marble wall of Emperor Qianlong's tomb in the eastern Mausoleum of the Qing Dynasty. Of course, it can't be ruled out that some people have made some mysteries and carved these heavenly books.

Nearby residents collect tickets privately, and the original hotels and other stores in daxianshan are closed. Tourists are relatively rare and desolate. There is a Buddha worship Festival on the 15th day of junior high school, which is relatively lively.

The origin of the name

The reason why daxianshan is so famous is probably because of the word "immortal" -- from a distance and from a close view, all the stones have heads and faces, and each has its own shape. Or like a turtle, like a frog, like an elephant, like a tiger, like a rabbit. Tourists have their own gaping or praising people, you will stop by these strange stones to watch, or slap, or touch, and stay for a long time. According to the guide, the so-called "great immortal" is said to be a Taoist named Kang Yue. He once preached and practiced medicine here. Whenever someone came to ask for help because of illness or something, he would give help no matter whether he was poor or expensive. Therefore, countless people benefited from him. He was regarded as an "immortal" by the people, and a temple was built for him spontaneously. Kang Yue finally became a positive fruit, and was called to heaven by the Jade Emperor. It is said that long after Kang Yue left, the animals that used to accompany Kang Yue and the objects that Kang Yue used to use on Daxian mountain turned into stones. Therefore, it has the name of "daxianshan".

Surrounding terrain

Daxian mountain is located in the remaining veins of the Yin Mountain range, with a main scenic area of about 1 square kilometer. The panoramic area is about 3 square kilometers. The overall height is about 60 meters above the ground. The base of the mountain is granite, mainly granulite, covered with lichens, fungi and algae such as black, yellow, green, white and brown. Occasionally there are dwarf shrubs such as Rosa davurica and Spiraea. Walking through these shrubs, you must be careful to slip. In the middle and upper part of the mountain, there are more and more kinds of round egg stones, most of which are more than one meter in diameter, and the surface rocks are coarse without cracks. Different shapes: oblong, oblong, oval, some of which with hollow or round hole of the huge round pebbles, more eye-catching and footstep. They are very similar to those specially placed on them. They will move when a gust of wind blows. The main peak is formed by the accumulation of pebbles and independent peaks. In the sun, it is green, red, pink, white, black and yellow. From a distance, it looks like a heavy oil painting, which is shocking. Because the mountain is not high, some tourists can climb to the top of the mountain. When going down the mountain, many rock surfaces are trapezoidal, and they diffuse and condense layer by layer, with the feeling of magma overflowing and cooling. Take bus No.1, 2, 15, 101 to Baotou Station, and take bus No.5, 7, 10, 13, 18, 131, 133 to Baotou east station. Because the two places are so far apart, if they make a mistake, they will not be able to get there in time.
