Fufeng Wenta
Fufeng Wenta is a seven story octagonal brick tower on the mountain, also known as yandunhua tower. It is one of the ten new sights in Zhongshan City.
Fufeng, also known as Yandun mountain, is located in the center of the city. The tower was built in 1608, the 36th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty, and has experienced more than 380 years of vicissitudes. The tower is 24.5 meters high, with stone steps straight up to the top of the tower. You can have a panoramic view of Shiqi city. In 1983, the people's Government of Shiqi Town, Zhongshan County rebuilt the ancient pagoda and added lighting to the body of the pagoda.
Fufeng Wenta was built in September 1608, the 36th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty, and was founded by Cai Shanji, the county magistrate. The tower is a seven story octagonal brick structure tower with flat seats. It is 24.5 meters high. It was originally a hollow tower. When it was rebuilt in 1952, the upper three floors were changed to solid. The bottle shaped brake is made of iron. At present, the first to third floors of the tower are open to the outside world. Visitors can climb up the steps. When they climb on each floor, they can walk out of the corridor and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding rivers and mountains, as well as Zhongshan City.
