International Convention and Exhibition Center

Xiamen Convention and Exhibition Center is located on the north side of Huandao Road, one of the famous landmarks in Xiamen. The September 8 investment fair and Xiamen International Marathon (starting point and ending point) are held here.

Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center is located at 198 Convention and Exhibition Road, Siming District, Xiamen city. It is a large-scale modern exhibition hall integrating exhibition, conference, information, business negotiation, hotel, and supporting catering, advertising, trade, warehousing and other services. Facing xiaojinmen island across the sea, the straight-line distance is only 4600 meters.

Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center has a total construction area of 399000 square meters. After the completion of phase III, it is the second largest exhibition center in Asia and the third largest exhibition center in the world, second only to Hannover Exhibition Center and Guangzhou International Exhibition Center in Germany.

International Convention and Exhibition Center

The International Convention and Exhibition Center is a place for holding large-scale exhibitions. As of January 2009, China International Convention and Exhibition Center, as the only member of UFI in China and member of IAEM, has actively participated in various activities of International Convention and exhibition industry, striving to promote the internationalization and standardization of China's Convention and exhibition industry.

From its completion in 1985 to January 2009, the China International Convention and Exhibition Center has held more than 1000 exhibitions of various types, covering an area of more than 11 million square meters, promoting trade turnover of more than 500 billion yuan between China and other countries. China International Convention and Exhibition Center is the largest modern exhibition hall in China (until 1993). It is located in jing'anzhuang, North Third Ring Road East, Chaoyang District, Beijing. Designed by Beijing Architectural Design Institute. It covers an area of 150000 square meters with 170000 square meters of exhibition space. The structure system includes grid structure, reinforced concrete structure and steel structure. It has seven largest exhibition halls in China, including No.1 exhibition hall (main hall), with a total construction area of more than 50000 square meters.

Development status

Up to January 2009, China International Exhibition Center held more than 100 exhibitions every year, with an exhibition area of more than 1 million square meters. Most of these exhibitions have great influence at home and abroad. Among them, the top four international professional exhibitions are organic bed exhibition, textile machinery exhibition, metallurgy, casting, forging and industrial furnace exhibition; the printing technology exhibition, machine tool exhibition, metallurgy, casting, forging and industrial furnace exhibition are recognized by the International Expo alliance;

Well known in the international professional circles are auto show, chemical show, telecommunication show, computer show, food machine show and aviation show; as a comprehensive exhibition, well-known people include Beijing International Expo, Asia Pacific Expo, etc. As of January 2009, there are 31 regular exhibitions in China International Exhibition Center, most of which have a cycle of two years, and some of which have a cycle of one year, three years or four years. The auto show and the first philatelic show are considered to be popular in Beijing.

Chinese President Jiang Zemin and other party and state leaders came to visit the auto show; the president of the Swiss Federation, the president of France and other political figures from other countries also came to visit the textile machinery exhibition and the logistics exhibition, which fully reflected the role and influence of these exhibitions. While consolidating regular exhibitions, the exhibition center has cultivated and established some famous brand exhibitions by transplanting foreign famous brand exhibitions and jointly organizing exhibitions, which not only opens up exhibition sources, but also increases profits.

New museum

China International Exhibition Center (new pavilion) is located on the Bank of Wenyu River, Tianzhu Airport City, Shunyi District, Beijing. It is 1.5km to the east of Capital International Airport, close to Tianzhu Industrial Development Zone and Wenyuhe green ecological corridor. It is planned to be located in the public business park of "airport city".

The overall planning layout comes from the river, and the main axis of the exhibition hall comes down in one continuous line with Wenyu River. The whole building complex starts from south to north along Jingshun expressway. Two expressways, Jingcheng Expressway and airport expressway, pass through from both sides in the east-west direction. The north-south direction is connected with two expressways, the Fifth Ring Road and the sixth ring road. The main entrances and exits of the exhibition hall are equipped with bus, taxi and bus stops. In the urban planning, there is No.15 light rail directly to the exhibition hall, which provides the most convenient means of transportation for the audience from the urban area.

China International Exhibition Center (New Museum) is connected with the external Municipal Transportation Road, which is convenient for distribution. All kinds of motor vehicles have their own traffic flow lines, and each way does not affect each other.

Scale of exhibition hall

As of January 2009, phase I and phase II have 200 hectares of land, with a total construction area of about 660000 square meters; phase III has 70 hectares, with a total construction area of about 870000 square meters. After the completion of the whole exhibition hall, the usable indoor exhibition area is up to 200000 square meters, including 16 separable single-layer, pillar free and large space exhibition halls, and the building area of comprehensive supporting facilities is 1.03 million square meters.

Each single exhibition hall is 168 meters long and 70 meters wide. The exhibition hall can be used separately.

The clear height of the standard exhibition hall is 13-17 meters, and that of the multi-function exhibition hall is 16-19.5 meters.

The floor load of the exhibition hall is 5-8 tons per square meter.

Every 1500 square meters of the exhibition hall is equipped with a purchase door, which can be used for both goods flow and people flow. The use size is 5 meters * 5 meters.

The exhibition hall area provides sufficient water and electricity supply interfaces for exhibitors.

Two 400 meter long and 9 meter wide corridor type circular areas are equipped with spectator leisure and comprehensive service facilities.

The four visitor landing halls are equipped with facilities for audience reception, inquiry, login, electronic ticket checking, VIP reception, news, bank, post office, etc., and can hold the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

Conference Room

The first floor of the complex building is the conference area, with 1 conference room for 300 people, 3 conference rooms for 100 people, press release hall, fire control room and office in the west wing; VIP area is near the west end, with independent entrance and exit. There are 1 meeting room for 200 people, 2 meeting rooms for 100 people and several small meeting rooms in the east wing; shops, cafes and business centers are arranged near the traffic hall; customs quarantine hall, reception and office rooms are set in the East.
