Dashi Temple
Dashi hall, also known as Guanyin Pavilion, was changed into Wanshou Pavilion in the 52nd year of Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty. The monument of "boundless longevity" was built inside. It was the place where all the officials of the State paid homage to the emperor. In the second year of Emperor Qianlong's reign, he was converted to worship Nanhai Guanshi Yin Bodhisattva. At the back of the hall stands the inscription of Emperor Qianlong's "the picture of the emperor's coming out of the mountain", which tells the story of Guanyin Bodhisattva's coming out of the mountain and his changing from male to female.

sites related to revolutionary history
The temple is also a monumental revolutionary site.
In 1911, the revolution of 1911 restored Fuzhou. At that time, Yushan was used as the general offensive position, and the former general headquarters of the revolutionary army was located in the palace. In the early morning of November 9, 1911, the revolutionary army opened fire here, shelling the Qixia street where the general's office and flag soldiers lived together, capturing general Pu Shou alive. So the revolutionary army recovered Fuzhou at one stroke, and then all parts of the province responded. From then on, Fujian got rid of the rule of feudal monarchy for more than 2000 years.
In 1987, Fuzhou museum was founded in Yushan Dashi hall. The new museum has been moved to No.8 Wenbo Road, Jin'an District.
In 2007, the memorial hall of 1911 Revolution in Fuzhou was set up in the Da Shi hall.
pattern
To the east of the hall of the grand master is the national protection temple, and to the west is the Dragon Temple. Jiuxian temple, the largest temple in Yushan, was built in 1103, the second year of Chongning in the Northern Song Dynasty. The third hall is called the Jade Emperor Pavilion for the Jade Emperor and the nine immortals. There are 19 historical steles on display in the stele Gallery of Tianjun hall. Dashi hall is adjacent to "Huguo Temple" in the East and "Zhenlong Temple" in the West. There is an ancient banyan tree growing on the top of shiziyan in the east of the hall. Its fibrous root has a unique shape, and there are many celebrity inscriptions on the cliff.
Renovation
Due to the disrepair for a long time, the Da Shi hall was seriously damaged. In 2001, the Cultural Department of Fuzhou city invested more than 500000 yuan in the overall renovation of the hall of the grand master. In order to enrich the display content of the hall of the grand master, rubbings were made on the stele of "the picture of the grand master coming out of the mountain" to make the picture and text clear and restore the former enemy general headquarters as it is.
After more than a year of comprehensive renovation, it has been opened to the outside world in succession, and will be open to the outside world in late August 2002. At that time, visitors can not only see the architectural essence of the entire min temple in Qing Dynasty, but also the only male figure of Guanyin monument in Fujian Province, and also visit the restored enemy headquarters of the 1911 Revolution and the cultural origins of Fuzhou.
