Chongqing jiuchongshan National Forest Park is located in the southwest of Chengkou County, the northeast end of Chongqing. It is 22 kilometers away from Chengkou County in the East, 90 kilometers away from Wanyuan city in Sichuan Province in the west, and 150 kilometers away from Kaixian County in the south. The highest altitude of the park is 2471 meters, the lowest altitude is 705 meters, and the relative elevation difference is 1766 meters. It is a Southwest sedimentary area. The upper part of the park is composed of grey marlstone, purplish red marly dolomite and dolomitic sandy shale with different thickness, and the lower part is composed of marlstone, limestone, intercalated dolomite limestone, dolomite and purplish red muddy dolomite. The dip angle of the strata is mostly 50 ~ 70 ° and the faults and vertical joints are relatively developed.
