Ruyi square is located in Ruyi Development Zone in the east of Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with a total area of 100000 square meters and a total construction investment of 23 million yuan. It is a large-scale ecological comprehensive square integrating leisure, entertainment, assembly and viewing built by Ruyi District in 2002, and also one of the largest squares in Hohhot.

According to the configuration and function division, Ruyi square can be divided into four characteristic plates: East, South, West and North. The eastern part of the park is mainly characterized by artificial lakes, water corridors, pavilions and pavilions. The artificial lake is divided into two water areas by piers of different sizes and heights. There are all kinds of rare stones beside the lake, such as tortoises and stone beds, which are rotated for visitors to watch and have a rest. In the south, there is a Pinus tabulaeformis forest which covers an area of nearly 15000 square meters and has been growing for decades. Lawns with various patterns and rare trees in the north, such as Hongyexiaobo and Shantao, reflect the ecological characteristics of harmony between man and nature. The fragrance of flowers and plants, the shady paths and the stone benches in leisure provide a fresh and healthy place for morning exercisers. The ingenious combination of lawns and flowers in the West shows the traditional Confucian and Taoist culture of the Chinese nation and the abstract theme of the alternation of heaven, earth, yin and Yang as well as the endless changes of nature. North to large laser music fountains, dry fountains, water screen film as the main composition of the sound photoelectric leisure square. In the four directions of the laser music fountain, there are beautiful sculptures of "sunken fish", "falling wild goose", "closed moon" and "shy flower". They are the synonyms of the "Four Beauties" in ancient China, namely, Xi Shi, Wang Zhaojun, Diao Chan and Yang Guifei. Their fate is related to the country, and their stories are widely spread. They also add another style to the beauty of Ruyi square. In the periphery of the four plates, there are 525 sets of coconut lights, Huaihua lights, floodlights, colored lights, high pole lights, spotlights, voice controlled lights and other characteristic lights interweave to form a glorious night scene. There are also "auspicious Ruyi" sculptures symbolizing the peace and prosperity of Ruyi district and "qiguanchanghong" sculptures promoting the continuous self-improvement and unity of all ethnic groups in Hohhot The 4-meter-high white jade cultural wall and the flag array of 100 enterprises further enhance and accumulate the strong cultural atmosphere of Ruyi square. The content of the cultural wall painting is based on the sequence of the northern nationalities stepping onto the historical stage, This paper focuses on the political, economic and cultural relations between the nomadic nationalities in the north and the Central Plains dynasties, as well as the major historical events, important historical figures, important historical and cultural relics and unearthed cultural relics in various historical periods, and systematically introduces the cultural and historical development of Hohhot. After Comrade Xiaoping's important talks in the south in 1992, China's reform and opening up has developed in depth. In order to revitalize the economy of the frontier minority areas, narrow the gap with the developed coastal areas, and give full play to the advantages of the capital city of the autonomous region, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Hohhot municipal government decided to establish the Ruyi District of Hohhot Economic and Technological Development Zone. In July 2000, approved by the State Council, it was promoted to a national economic and Technological Development Zone. It is one of the 49 national economic and technological development zones in China, and it is the national Torch Plan Hohhot biomedical industry base (central area). In September 2003, with the approval of the people's Government of the autonomous region, the development zone was recognized as the autonomous region level high-tech industrial development zone. In December 2004, it passed IS014001 environmental management system certification.

Ruyi District firmly seizes the historical opportunity of the western development, adheres to the policy of "three priority, two efforts and one promotion" formulated by the State Council, and adheres to the development strategy of setting up the district with advantageous industries, characteristic industries and key projects, revitalizing the district with science and technology, and strengthening the district with talents. Ruyi district has become one of the most remarkable regions in the central and western regions in attracting foreign investment and developing high-tech industries.

After 13 years of construction, the land area of "seven links and one leveling" in Ruyi district has reached 11.97 square kilometers, basically forming a region with beautiful construction environment, complete supporting facilities, perfect service function and strong comprehensive competitiveness. The development zone has invested 488 million yuan in infrastructure and supporting facilities. 15 main and secondary roads have been built in the area, including 3 6-lane first-class roads, 2 4-lane first-class roads, 3 bus lines and 1 expressway connecting with the urban area and the airport. There is one 110000V substation in the area, providing 24000kva / day power supply capacity. Two water supply plants provide water supply capacity of 45600 tons / day. The rainwater and sewage are managed and discharged separately in sewage treatment, and the sewage is discharged to Huhhot sewage treatment pipeline after primary treatment. One 40 ton heat supply boiler, three 20 ton heat supply boilers and two 6 ton steam supply boilers can provide 112 T / h heat supply (steam) capacity. The natural gas pipeline has entered the development zone. Hohhot Post Branch, Hohhot Netcom branch, China Mobile branch and China Unicom communication hub are all located in the development zone. It can provide two 155mbit / s export bandwidth of Internet and 50000 installed capacity of program-controlled telephone. Ruyi Cultural Plaza, Donghe Park, Taiwei Golf Course, Inner Mongolia Foreign Affairs Training Center, gengyen commercial building, Zhongsheng international business center, Ruyi residential district and other comprehensive service facilities can provide office, accommodation, catering, entertainment and other services.

In accordance with the principle of adapting to the socialist market economy and international practice, Ruyi district has established an efficient and convenient management system and operation mechanism, and implemented "one-stop" examination and approval and "one-stop" service. Under the attraction of good operation mechanism and perfect investment environment, Ruyi Development Zone has become an ideal investment place for Chinese and foreign businessmen. There are 526 industrial and commercial enterprises in the Development Zone, including 143 manufacturing enterprises and 33 foreign-invested enterprises. In 2005, the total industrial output value was 10.03 billion yuan and the fiscal revenue was 450 million yuan. Most of the projects are from the United States, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other countries and regions.

In 2005, Ruyi district has formed four pillar industries with obvious characteristics: Electronics and information industry, biomedicine industry, precious metals and new materials industry, and fine textile industry. The output value of the four industries accounted for 95.24% of all manufacturing industries. In 2005, the output value of electronic information industry in Ruyi District of Huhhot Economic and Technological Development Zone accounted for 95.3% of the whole city's electronic information output value. There are 13 national and autonomous high-tech enterprises in the Development Zone, accounting for 9.1% of the total 143 industrial enterprises, with an output value of 6.14 billion yuan, accounting for 61.2% of the total output value of all industrial enterprises.

The development zone has unswervingly implemented the resource conversion strategy proposed by the governments of the autonomous region and the Hohhot municipality, given full play to the resource advantages of the region, and turned the resource advantages into economic advantages.
