With a construction area of 6500 square meters, it is commissioned to design by Tongji University. Development history

The ancient Huaihe River cultural ecological scenic spot is located in Qinghe New District of Huai'an City, only 5km away from the city center, covering a total area of 1900 mu. From the air, the whole scenic spot looks like a mushroom cloud. The ancient Huaihe River Cultural and ecological scenic spot is the largest wedding Industrial Park in the province. It is also the preferred eco-tourism destination to experience Huaiyang cuisine culture, unique wedding custom culture, water culture, drama culture and celebrity culture.

On November 1, 2012, the ancient Huaihe River in Huai'an City of Jiangsu Province was specially approved as a national water conservancy scenic spot.

geographical environment

In 2006, when Qinghe District, the main urban area of Huai'an City, started the construction of Qinghe new area, the construction of ancient Huaihe cultural and ecological scenic area also started. "To build the ancient Huaihe River cultural ecological scenic spot, we must rely on the original ecological resources of the ancient Huaihe River bank line, fully tap the rich mine of the ancient Huaihe River culture, and highlight its profound huaishui, Huairen and Huaishi culture. We should not only build the scenic area into an ecological corridor and cultural development belt connecting the new and old urban areas, but also let people gradually feel the prosperity of the ancient folk song "walking thousands, walking thousands, not as good as the two sides of the Huaihe River." Xiao Benming, Secretary of the Qinghe District Party committee, positioned the construction of the scenic spot in this way.

Relying on the 3.5km original ecological shoreline with luxuriant trees and natural wildness, Qinghe District has carried out ecological restoration and functional reconstruction of the original ditches, ponds and pits, and built a number of urban leisure parks, such as Bailu lake, Qinglong lake and Guhuai river ecological park. China Huaiyang Cuisine Culture Museum

With a construction area of 6500 square meters, it integrates Chinese garden style and Chinese garden style, and is composed of five functional areas: River hall, restaurant, folk custom hall, tasting hall and China Huaiyang Cuisine Culture Research Institute. It is the largest themed cuisine culture museum in China, which is academic, knowledgeable, interesting and participatory.

With a construction area of 3000 square meters, it is an important carrier to carry forward the journey to the west culture and create the brand of "creative Qinghe". The exhibition hall is divided into eight parts: "strange people and strange books", "popular in the world", "maps of journey to the west", "classic stories", "Wonderland", "time and space shuttle", "game experience" and "three-dimensional cinema". It adopts the domestic first-class display techniques of sound, light and electricity to show the magical and magnificent culture of journey to the West.

Ancient huailou · Jianghuai wedding hall

In ancient times, there was "huaijiaolou", which was built in Song Dynasty. Xu Jialu, former vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, inscribed it "Guhuai tower" and wrote the story of Guhuai tower.

After reconstruction, the ancient Huai building adopts the architectural style of overlapping eaves, with a height of 18.36 meters, three floors above the ground and two floors underground. Standing on the upper floor of the ancient Huaihe River, you can see the scenery of the ancient Huaihe River to the north and the panoramic view of the new area to the south. It is an excellent place for sightseeing.

Jianghuai wedding hall is located on the first to third floor of Guhuai building. It is divided into four parts: preface hall, hand in hand hall, couple hall and marriage hall. It reproduces the traditional Jianghuai wedding culture. On the top floor hangs a happy bronze bell, which is 2.17 meters in height, 1.39 meters in diameter, 8 cm in thickness and 2 tons in weight. The body of the clock is cylindrical and gradually enlarged from top to bottom. The beam is decorated with double dragon pattern, with nine breasts on the shoulder. There are two pairs of dragon and Phoenix in the abdomen, which means that the dragon and Phoenix are auspicious. The bell body is divided into two parts. New people or couples come here to strike the bell to pray, which means "happiness for life".

Changrong Grand Theater · Xunzi Art Museum

Named after the famous Xunzi Peking Opera master Mr. Song Changrong, it is the "flagship theater of Suzhou opera theater line". It has a large theater that can accommodate 800 people to watch the performance at the same time and a small theater that can accommodate 60 people to watch the performance. It is a comprehensive venue with the functions of drama performance, film and television projection, music variety show, forum, exhibition, etc. The Xunzi Art Museum in the theater shows the long history of Xunzi Peking Opera and the artistic career of the famous Xunzi Peking Opera master Mr. Song Changrong, so that tourists can have a deeper understanding of the infinite charm of Peking Opera Art and grasp the cultural context of Xunzi Peking Opera.

Qinghe City Museum

It is a comprehensive exhibition hall that displays the image of Qinghe City, reflects the cultural connotation of Qinghe City, and depicts the blueprint of Qinghe city development. With the theme of "long history, brilliant achievements and grand blueprint", the exhibition hall comprehensively displays six new city cards of Qinghe, namely "South boat and North horse, famous commercial district, food paradise, wedding capital, ecological new town and harmonious home", through novel exhibition concept, rich exhibition contents and modern exhibition means, so that visitors can "know Qinghe without going out of this hall".

Qinghe Cultural Center

It has reached the standard of national second level museum, and Sun Jiazheng, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference, inscribed the name of the museum. The cultural center adopts the layout of the classical inner courtyard of Ming and Qing Dynasties with green bricks and grey tiles. It is surrounded by a corridor. Outside the east side of the hall, there is a corridor extending to the ancient Huaihe River, which is quiet and deep. There are a large number of calligraphy and painting rooms for celebrities such as Xun Delin and Zhao Kai in the museum, which has a strong cultural charm. At the same time, there are children's activity room, calligraphy and painting room, dance room, piano room, guzheng room, erhu room, dulcimer room, exhibition hall, recreation garden, viewing area and other cultural facilities. There are twelve zodiac patterns embedded on the left and right sides of Hongxi square in front of the museum, vividly depicting the marriage culture of folk Zodiac collocation.

With a construction area of about 20000 square meters, it is a leisure commercial district integrating characteristic catering, accommodation, leisure and entertainment, and boutique shopping.
