Gushuyuan is a forest landscape area in Zhengzhou, located at the intersection of Tianhe Road and Kaiyuan Road in Huiji district. There are more than 3700 trees of more than 30 varieties in the ancient tree garden, including nearly 900 trees with more than 100 years old, 3 trees with more than 1000 years old, and dozens of trees with more than 500 years old. There are also forest trails, two 60-80 ton boulders, artificial lakes and rockeries. It is a leisure and sports place for Zhengzhou citizens.

It bravely stands in the nature of the earth and protects the cold and heat of spring, summer, autumn and winter. Whether it's windy and rainy, or sunny, its roots are deeply rooted in the land, witnessing the passage of years in the world, and its life is also beautiful It's fun, so it can survive for centuries, even longer! After passing the ancient forest, several small mountains rise and fall, man-made river shuttles back and forth at the foot of the mountain, several exquisite small bridges of different styles are on the river, and the edge of the river bends freely. Several exquisite stones rest on both sides of the river. The interesting stones and rivers are in contrast with different kinds of flowers and plants. Peach blossom and pear blossom are in full bloom. The wind is blowing, and the flowing air is filled with the fragrance of flowers. The path here is not wide enough for two or three people to walk side by side. The path is paved with stones of different shapes. The road is smooth and clean. It is really spotless. The artificial lake is quiet, like a mirror, reflecting the blue sky, white clouds and green trees so clearly. Occasionally, there is a breeze blowing slowly, and layers of ripples immediately appear on the surface of the lake, which completely breaks the previous tranquility. The artificial lake is green, and the surface of the lake is as tender and lovely as the newly brewed green tea, which makes people feel comfortable. Further inside is the ginkgo forest. There are pines and cypresses as pruned as pagodas, gingko trees as graceful as Tingting, and many unnamed trees. High trees and low trees pitch. Deciduous trees alternate with evergreen trees.

There are 3723 trees planted in the ancient tree garden, including 880 ancient trees, 3 trees over 1000 years old, one Ligustrum lucidum and two ash trees. Dozens of trees over 500 years old and 850 trees over 100 years old. There are more than 30 varieties, such as papaya, Osmanthus fragrans, Sapium sebiferum, Ginkgo biloba, American Red reed, Albizia julibrissin and Magnolia grandiflora, which are second to none in the Central Plains in terms of quantity and variety. It is known as "a large-scale gathering place of fine ancient fossils and ancient art".

Main attractions

In order to facilitate tourists' leisure and sightseeing, the park has paved forest trails, developed 36000 square meters of turf square, and transported two 60-80 tons of boulders, forming a unique cultural landscape, improving the civilization and grade of the city, which has produced great repercussions in the Central Plains and even the whole country.

The new area has a total area of 540 mu, with a greening area of 300 mu and a square area of 30 mu. In addition to four office buildings, it will gradually be fully greening.
