architectural composition
The total construction area of Foding palace is nearly 100000 square meters. The main building has nine floors, and six floors are built by underground mines. It is a large-scale building, which is rare in Buddhist buildings in the world, and here is the place where Foding relics are placed and worshipped. Buddha top palace is a semicircular shape. The overall shape is a mani dome with a giant lotus holding up the hair bun of Buddha top. The diameter is more than 200 meters, which is very magnificent.
The Foding palace is not a single dome, but is designed as a patio style space, the most central reclining statue of Buddha nirvana is the most shocking, which can be viewed from multiple angles. Buddha uses the four aspects of life, old age, illness and death to persuade all living beings. The "Nirvana" of Buddhism is a state of eternal peace. When the Buddha said it, the heavens scattered flowers. According to legend, the pure land of the Buddha also has the auspicious omen of rain and flowers day and night. When Sakyamuni Buddha nirvana, all people also hold fragrant flowers and treasure houses to support him.
At the bottom of the dome, the most sacred palace in the ruins park is dedicated to Sakyamuni's parietal bone relic. The imitation pagoda dedicated to the Buddha's parietal relic is inlaid with seven Buddhist treasures, such as gilding, crystal, glaze, and gemstone. It integrates dozens of traditional crafts, such as bronze, gilding, silk enamel, sculpture, carving, and so on, together with laser projection. It is extremely beautiful.
To enter the Buddha top palace, you need to go through a corridor full of miraculous paintings. In this corridor, there are four small palaces, depicting the wonders of the earth, fire, water and wind in the world. Along the way, we can see the wonders of the earth and the fire - the beautiful scenes of thousands of small Buddhist niches and thousands of heart lamps.
When you get to the place near the Buddha top palace, you need to take the elevator in the water to go up. This is the third wonder - the pure water in the third world. Through Zen Design to describe these phenomena in nature. Out of the elevator is the top floor of the Buddha top palace, here is also the entrance of the Buddha top palace. The tall space and exquisite dome are just above, which is shocking. Looking up at the sky, the mysterious sky seems to be close at hand, the stars seem to be within reach, and the unity of heaven and man. This kind of design enables people to understand the Buddhist story and experience all things in nature before they see the parietal bone of Buddha. Only after "experience" can they enter the temple with a quiet and peaceful attitude, which also means "meditation".
