Songjiang Huazang temple, also known as Jingyong temple, is said to have been built in the early Tang Dynasty. It is a Buddhist monastery. Hu á C á ng, also known as "Hua Zang", is the abbreviation of Lianhua Zang world (or Hua Zang world). In Buddhist language, Huazang refers to Sakyamuni, Shinto, pilushana Buddha and pure land. It is the paradise of Buddhism and is composed of countless small worlds hidden in baolianhua.
Whether the Huazang temple was built in the Tang Dynasty is still unknown, but according to the records of Meishan County: "the Huazang Temple (Meishan County) governs 30 Li to the south. There is a historical site of reading platform in Su Dongpo. " It shows that at least in the Northern Song Dynasty, Huazang Temple existed, but it was destroyed later.
The current Huazang temple was approved by the Religious Bureau of Sichuan provincial government in 1999. At present, only the Tianwang temple has been built, and other temples are under construction. The temple of Heavenly Kings is also very simple. It is dedicated to Maitreya Buddha. The two heavenly kings under the eaves are tall and dignified, which is rare.
On the right side of the heavenly king hall is the great compassion hall. According to the Buddhist language, the heart of saving people from suffering is called compassion; the Buddha and Bodhisattva have a broad heart of compassion, so they are called great compassion. It is dedicated to master Guanyin. To the north of Tianwang hall is the main hall under construction - Guanyin hall.
Historical legend
In front of Guanyin hall, a lush litchi tree is said to be planted by Su Dongpo himself. Under the tree stands a stele engraved with the Buddhist relationship between Su Shi and Huazang temple.
Su Shi studied in Huazang temple when he was young. Later, it was said that the Third Prince of the Dragon King also visited Su Dongpo. At the end of the autumn of 1059, Su Shi returned home to serve his mother. On the eve of leaving for office, he donated some of his mother's relics to Huazang temple. In the middle of the winter of 1068, after Su Shi returned to meishou for his father's filial piety and buried his wife, he planted two litchi trees in his hometown. One was planted in front of the current Sansu Temple Qixian hall, the other was planted in Huazang temple. More than 900 years later, the seedlings of that year have become towering trees, litchi Qingqing think of old friends, fruitful into a sacrifice.
After Su Shi left his hometown, he never came back to his hometown, but he missed his hometown very much and the litchi he planted himself. It is said that Su Shi once sent back a little poem about the homesickness of the Wanderers at the end of the world
When my old friend sent me to the East, he planted litchi in his hand and waited for me to return.

Location profile
Huazang temple in Duoyue town is located in the north of Duoyue Town, Dongpo District, 26 km northwest of Meishan City, about 5 km away from Duoyue town. This was originally Zhengjun Township, which was set up in 1934. It was named Zhengjun Township after the name of zhengshankou and Jiangjun temple. At the beginning, the residence of Zhengjun township government was in Huazang temple. In May 2005, Zhengjun township was merged into Duoyue Town, so Huazang temple now belongs to Huazang village of Duoyue town. Huazang temple is located on Wufeng mountain. As soon as you get to the foot of the mountain, you can see a Grand Buddha standing high on the green Wufeng mountain.
Wufeng mountain, also known as Panlong mountain, is a natural mountain with winding shape and overlapping peaks. On the mountain, there are green trees, white cranes, clouds, streams and streams.
Huazang temple was not in Wufeng mountain, but in a school at the foot of the mountain. Now this place has become a training base for the army. It is said that there used to be a abbot of Huazang temple called Zen master Zhijue who left behind the ciphertext of "five peaks of Li Gou", but no one could interpret it at that time. It was not until the reconstruction of Huazang temple in Wufeng mountain that people suddenly realized. "Li Gou" is a Buddhist language, also known as "no dirt land" and "pure land". If you enter here, you should keep the pure precepts and keep away from worry and dirt. Therefore, to put it simply, "Li Gou Wu Feng" means that Wufeng mountain is a clean place, where you can stay away from worldly troubles.
Temple History
According to reports, Huazang temple has a long history and was once one of the famous Buddhist resorts inside and outside the province. According to a bronze bell of the temple, the temple was first built in the Han Dynasty (AD 280), and then expanded in the early Tang Dynasty (AD 625) by a Jinshi with the surname ou (from Dayi County), who was a former Zhizhou and Hanlin scholar. The architecture is built in the style of an ancient temple palace in the Tang Dynasty, with seven halls, pagodas and silver plates as the foundation. The whole temple covers an area of 2.5 square kilometers, with elegant and magnificent architecture. From then on, Huazang temple was famous for a time and was prosperous in Tang, song, yuan and Ming Dynasties. Later, the temple was destroyed in the flames of war, monks fled, abandoned walls and ruins, and there were nine empty rooms and a lot of ruins. In the early days of Liberation (1951), there were only seven more than 500 Arhats, which are now in the Sansu Museum.
In 1991, the Huazang Temple moved from the original school to the nearby Wufeng mountain for reconstruction.

The present Huazang temple, covering an area of 50 mu, is built close to the mountain. Temples and halls
In front of the temple, the gate is simple and narrow, but inside the gate there are two big and powerful generals. The two vajras were magnificent and angry. With a crown on his head, a naked upper body and a Vajra pole in his hand, the man on the left opens his mouth in anger for the "Ha Jiang" who makes a "ha" sound, while the man on the right closes his lips in anger for the "hum Jiang" who makes a "hum" sound. Two door gods stand by the mountain gate to protect the Buddha Kingdom and Dharma.
Climb up a small stone step, face is the king hall, in front of the two stone lions, momentum extraordinary. In the heavenly king hall, Maitreya Buddha is in the middle as usual, with four heavenly kings on both sides. It's just that there is Amitabha at the back of the hall, which seems a little out of order.
After the heavenly king hall, there is the great scholar hall, that is, the Guanyin hall, and then the great hero hall.
On the right side of the main hall is the hall of patriarchs. In the center is the hall of patriarchs. On the right side is Zen master Zhijue. On the left side is master Haiguo. He presided over the construction of Huiguang temple on Pengzu mountain.
Further up, there is the Sutra library, with thousands of eyes, thousands of hands, twelve senses and thirty-two bodies. Twelve yuan Jue is a famous group of Bodhisattvas worshipped by Esoteric Buddhism. Yuan Jue is also called supreme Jue. It is one of the three realms of Jue in Buddhism. It means that he consciously realizes that his wisdom and practice have reached the highest and most complete state. Twelve yuan Jue "practice Tao, merit is complete", to live a pure Buddhist country, that is to become a Buddha.
According to the sixth chapter of the Lengyan Sutra, in order to save the suffering beings, Guanyin Bodhisattva shows 32 kinds of incarnations, which are regarded as the saying and rescue. These 32 kinds of incarnations are the 32 kinds of incarnations of Guanyin Bodhisattva.
Next to the Sutra building is the lotus underground palace of Huazang temple. The underground palace, also known as the blissful hall, is the place where the ashes are stored. According to the temple administrators, the business is still good. Two thirds of the thousands of positions have been sold.
Eat fast food
In front of the ancestral hall is the Wuguan hall. Wuguantang is the canteen in the temple, where monks eat, that is, Zhaitang. This is because in Buddhism, when people learn to eat, they have to think about five things. If they combine eating with Dharma, even if the food is as hard as iron and steel, they can digest it. On the contrary, even if it is dripping water, it is difficult to digest it. Therefore, there is a saying in the hall of Buddhism: "if the five outlooks are clear and the gold is changed, the three hearts will not disappear." It is because of the five things that we have to think about when we eat that we call Zhaitang wuguantang.
Tourism and residents can eat fast food in wuguantang. Fast food is five yuan per person, which tastes good. But here, after eating, you must wash the dishes by yourself. It is said that you can accumulate merits.
Meizhou Buddha
After fasting, climbing and entering the Holy Mountain Buddhist realm, Meizhou Buddha stands out in front of us. It is understood that the Meizhou Buddha is 42 meters high and 12 meters large. It is a sacred statue of Amitabha Buddha.
The Giant Buddha steps on the lotus and holds a lotus in front of his chest with the palm of his right hand facing up. His left hand naturally stretches down, his fingertips droop and his palm outward, indicating that he is leading the world to the Western Paradise. The majestic Buddha stands on Wufeng mountain. The light of the Buddha is shining. It will mercifully protect the suffering souls of all living beings. It can be called "the largest Buddha in Meizhou".
On the lotus seat of the Great Buddha, there are four powerful men, two on the front and one on the left and one on the right.
On the left and right sides of the Buddha, there is also a golden unicorn and a giant dragon. Unicorn, dragon, Phoenix and turtle are called "four spirits" and are the mounts of gods,
