Wanliutang Park
Wanliutang park is located in the southeast of Shenyang City, with a total area of 310000 square meters. It is named because of the variety and quantity of willows. In the Qing Dynasty, it was known as "Liutang summer resort" and was listed as one of the eight scenic spots in Shengjing.

Development history
Zhang Xianghe, a poet in the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, once praised the beautiful scenery of wanliutang for his beautiful poem "from the road to the city".
In 1953, the Shenyang Municipal Government cleaned up the south canal and piled up the river sediment here to form a rockery, forming the prototype of wanliutang park. In 1984, the south canal was reconstructed again, expanding the water area of wanliutang, setting up a gate, erecting a fence, and building ten scenes of Liutang, officially named wanliutang park.
From 1998 to 1999, the government of Shenhe District carried out a comprehensive planning and renovation of wanliutang Park and built a new large cultural square Wanliutang is a natural garden with cultural taste integrating leisure, entertainment and sightseeing.
