Cai Chengxun's old house is located at No.1 Dali Road, Heping District, Tianjin urban and county cultural relics protection unit. It is a key protection grade historic building, and is now an office building.

Cai Chengxun (1871-1946) was born in Tianjin. Graduated from the Beiyang military school, he once served as a counsellor of the Jinji governor training office and the 41st member of the Zhejiang Federation. After the revolution of 1911, successive Presidents served as military attache, division commander of the first division, commander of the seventh army of the southern expeditionary army, and governor of Chahar. In 1921, they served as the chief of the army and governor of Jiangxi in 1922. In 1924, he returned to Tianjin to live and invest in industry. The building, built in 1935, is a three story brick and wood building. The layout of the building is symmetrical, the bay is large, and the interior decoration of high-grade wood floor, wallboard, stairs, floor opencut partition fan, etc. are exquisite and gorgeous, which are rare carvings. The outer eaves are made of blue brick walls. The architectural form is simple and majestic, with the characteristics of eclecticism architectural style.
