Yangliu youth painting gallery integrates exhibition and production. It is located on the west side of Shijia courtyard in Xiqing District of Tianjin, the first residence in North China. It was originally the ancestral hall (an's ancestral hall) of an Wenzhong's family, the founder of Yangliuqing people's drive to the West camp. The restored Yangliu Youth Art Gallery covers an area of 623 square meters and a building area of 396 square meters. The building of the art gallery is quite characteristic, which is composed of five two courtyard houses and 24 houses. There is a hall in the middle, which divides the whole building into two courtyards, the north and the south, with the same layout. They are all quadrangles, five rooms wide, east-west wing rooms, beam lifting style, and two slope roofs. All the houses use four five plastered doors in the open space, and the second room and the tip room. The lower part is the crabapple pool type sill wall, and the upper part is the pick-up window. The main ridge of the house is the clear water ridge, and the ground is made of antique green brick, reflecting the ancient simplicity and elegance Style.

General situation

Yangliu youth painting was founded in the late Ming Dynasty, and reached its peak in the Qianlong and Jiaqing periods of the Qing Dynasty. As an embellishment of life, the willow youth paintings are not only popular in North China, Beijing and Tianjin, but also exported to all parts of the country. As the birthplace of Yangliuqing youth paintings, Yangliuqing in Xiqing District of Tianjin was also famous at home and abroad for its spectacular scene of "every family can spot and dye, and every family is good at Danqing". Yangliu youth painting has a wide range of subjects, various forms and distinctive artistic features. As early as the Qing Dynasty, it has been collected as treasures by museums and art museums in some countries. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Yangliu youth painting regained its vitality.

It is the art treasure and precious folk art heritage of the Chinese nation. Visitors can visit the production process of the five major processes of Yangliu youth painting, including sketch, engraving, overprint, color painting and mounting, as well as the development history and representative works of Yangliu green wood new year painting. They can also personally participate in the production of the new year painting and appreciate the breadth and profundity of Yangliu youth painting.
