Wan'an Temple Grottoes scenic area, also known as thousand Buddha cave and ten thousand Buddha Temple, is located in Shuanglong Zhenyu village, 47 kilometers west of Huangling County. Huangling County is located in the Loess Plateau in the middle reaches of the Yellow River. It is located in the middle of Shaanxi Province and the south end of Yan'an City. It is adjacent to Luochuan County in the East, Yijun County in the south, Zhengning County in Gansu Province in the West and Fuxian County in the North. It is known as the "south gate of Northern Shaanxi". It is the mausoleum of Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor, the ancestor of the Chinese nation, and one of the strategic places for economic development in Shaanxi Province.

The two walls of the corridor are carved with sunlight, moonlight Bodhisattva and nirvana. Inside and outside the grottoes are inscriptions of the song, Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Wan'an Chanyuan grottoes, located in Yucun village, Shuanglong Town, Huangling County, is a national key cultural relic protection unit. It was first built in the second year of Shisheng (1095) of the Northern Song Dynasty and completed in the fifth year of Zhenghe (1115). There is only one large cave, with more than 1000 statues of different sizes, and more than 10 pieces of travel notes, inscriptions and inscriptions. The grottoes are built on the mountain and face east in the West. The plane of the cave is in a "t" shape. Although the scale of Qianfo cave is small, it has fine carvings, rich themes and a clear excavation date. It is an important material for the study of Buddhist statues in the Song Dynasty in Shaanxi Province. On August 6, 1956, it was announced as the first batch of provincial key cultural relics protection units by Shaanxi Provincial People's Committee; on May 25, 2006, it was announced as the Sixth Batch of national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council. In August this year, Huangling County formulated the "master plan for the protection of Wan'an Temple Grottoes in Shuanglong town of Huangling County", which was approved by provincial experts, and strengthened the management of Wan'an temple in Shuanglong town.
