The memorial hall of Sun Yat Sen's former residence is a memorial museum with Sun Yat Sen's former residence as the main body. It is located in Cuiheng village, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, 17.6km southeast of Zhongshan City, beside the main road of Guangzhou Zhuhai Highway. It is about 100 km away from Guangzhou in the north and 30 km away from Macao in the south. It faces Shenzhen and Hong Kong across the Pearl River Estuary, and is adjacent to Zhuhai on land. Cuiheng village is close to mountains and sea, and has a pleasant climate. Architectural features
Sun Yat Sen's former residence is a two-story building with brick and wood structure, Chinese and Western integration and unique characteristics. A wall surrounds the courtyard. The facade of the building imitates western architecture, with red walls, white lines, green glazed bottle railings, and 7 continuous arches on the front porches of the upper and lower floors. The center of the parapet on the roof is decorated with a halo, and a bat with a coin ring is molded under it. The interior design of the building adopts the traditional Chinese architectural form. In the middle is the main hall, and behind the hall is sun Mu's house. There are two auricles on the left and right. The right auricle is sun Mei's house, and the left auricle is Sun Yat Sen's bedroom. The four brick walls are brick gray, with white brick lines. The window is under the beam. There are doors on all sides of the room leading out of the street

On the south side of the front door of Sun Yat Sen's former residence, there is a wooden plaque of "Sun Yat Sen's former residence" written by Song Qingling. There is a couplet hanging on the front door: "one rafter gets the place, five GUIs live in peace", which is said to have been written by Sun Yat Sen himself after the completion of the building

There is a well on the left side of the courtyard of Sun Yat Sen's former residence, which is about 32 square meters around. It is the old house of Sun Yat Sen's family when Sun Yat Sen was born. On the left side of the courtyard is a sour tree, which is surrounded by a wall. There is a big banyan head in front of the courtyard. Not far from his former residence, jinbinglang mountain, the ancient well on the hillside and the stream at the foot of the mountain are the places where Sun Yat Sen carried water, caught fish and swam when he was young

Admission will be stopped after 16:30 and free from 09:00 to 17:00 every day. The reception time for kindergarten and primary and secondary school students is from Monday to Friday, and an appointment must be made one day in advance.
