About the park

Zengbu Park, formerly known as Duishan park. Located on the Bank of Zengpu River in Guangzhou, the "little Zhongshan Hall" and Zhongshan Memorial Hall have an amazing similar appearance. According to reports, this small Zhongshan Hall is actually a private villa group imitated by Huang Guanzhang, the Quartermaster director and vice president of Guangdong Bank of warlord Chen Jitang in the 1930s. Its design and materials are exactly the same as those of Zhongshan Memorial Hall. It has long been known as "a replica of Zhongshan Memorial Hall".

After more than half a century of wind and frost, the villa has been rebuilt in the new century. After restoration and renovation, the landscape of the villa group has become today's zengbo park.

According to reports, the "bell shaped window" in this "little Zhongshan Hall" is unique in Guangzhou: the shape of the window is bell shaped, the interior is vertical and horizontal, and the wooden frame can be pushed back and forth, or can be opened and closed up and down, which is exquisite and changeable. If it is not rebuilt, this kind of "out of print" windows will be destroyed forever with the decay of wood.

Huang Yongsen, section chief of Liwan District Landscaping office, told reporters that after the reconstruction, the "little Zhongshan Hall" has basically maintained its original state, but its future use has not been determined. It has been revealed by relevant authorities that it may be used as an exhibition site for industrial history.
