The Persian tower generally refers to the bath tower
Bath building, also known as "Persian building", is located in the north foot of Baitoushan, Changzhou Island, Huangpu, Guangzhou. It is a two-story western style building.
The gate faces north and faces the Pearl River. On the left wall of the main entrance corridor, there is a marble stele in foreign languages. Behind the bath building, there is a wooden ladder leading to the cemetery of bath believers on the top of the mountain. It is said that it was the place where the believers used to say goodbye to the dead at that time. Later, the building became a meeting and activity place for the bassians in the British Consulate, customs and business institutions. There is a British flag on the roof. Every Saturday, the believers come here by boat from Guangzhou and return the next afternoon. After the outbreak of the Anti Japanese War and the fall of Guangzhou in 1938, Zoroastrians returned from Guangzhou. The building was once the principal's apartment of Zhongzheng middle school, and now the bath building is the archives of Huangpu shipyard.
