The "harmonica" on the left is a representative musical instrument shared by many ethnic minorities in Heilongjiang Basin. The Sheng on the right is an ancient Chinese musical instrument and a symbol of China's 5000 year splendid culture. Creating a Music Museum
After decades of music historical data mining and music object collection, on January 22, 2006, with the official approval of the state, Heilongjiang Music Museum (public welfare, free visit), China's first Music Museum independently founded by Miao Di, was officially opened to the public.
"Miao flute is based on the history of Heilongjiang music. It selects musicians (composers, conductors, soloists, soloists, music education, music literature and organizers of music activities) who were born, worked, lived and studied in Heilongjiang in different historical periods, and selects their natural resumes and main artistic achievements (including photos, books, manuscripts, manuscripts, etc.) According to the time of birth, there are more than 200 people (some of them have died or left Heilongjiang for many years). It took Miao Di eight years (1994-2002) to complete this work. At the same time, he insisted on going deep into the folk second-hand market for many years, where he obtained many musical relics with great cultural value. All the funds needed to complete these tasks come from Miao Di's personal expenses of piano tuning, erhu teaching and university teaching in thousands of homes regardless of the long journey and the severe cold and heat. On February 26, 2003, the retrospective exhibition of musicians in Heilongjiang's centenary hometown was officially displayed in Heilongjiang Provincial Museum.
At the end of 2005, the state officially issued the "measures for the administration of museums" to encourage and support the creation of various forms of industrial and public welfare museums. According to this policy, with the support of Heilongjiang cultural authorities, Heilongjiang Revolutionary Museum provides temporary exhibition hall. On January 22, 2006, Heilongjiang Music Museum, China's first Music Museum, was officially established and opened to the public free of charge. "
"After 12 years of unremitting efforts, Mr. Miao Di has collected more than 400 pictures of Heilongjiang musicians, including the pictures donated by Heilongjiang musicians from all over the country
