Qingcheng Park

Qingcheng park is located in the middle of Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia, Zhongshan West Road, stadium west road, covering an area of 48 hectares, with a construction area of more than 15000 square meters. The willows, flowers and birds are towering in the park. It is one of the main tourist attractions in the city.

Historical evolution

According to the records of Guisui county annals, Qingcheng Park, formerly known as Longquan Park, was built in 1931, covering an area of 1.33 hectares. There was a hill named WoLonggang. There is a spring at the foot of the hill. The water is sweet and clear. The spring is called laolongtan, also known as Longquan. In 1950, the park was expanded and rebuilt and renamed people's Park. In 1953, the zoo was added. In 1955, the artificial lake was built. In June 1997, in order to highlight the characteristics of the park in the capital city of the autonomous region, the park was renamed Qingcheng park at the request of the general public.
