"Bangjie" in Tibetan means "gentian flower", "Tang" in Tibetan means "flat and wide Bazi", and "Bangjie Tang" in Tibetan means "caobazi full of gentian flowers". "Bangjietang Grassland" is located in the west of Jiaxing Township, gongbujiangda County, Linzhi Prefecture, Tibet, with an average altitude of 4451m and a total grassland area of about 15km2. The terrain of "bangjietang Grassland" is flat and undulating, and the grass is as green as a natural green carpet. It is full of Gentiana flowers and other wild flowers. The smart plateau spirit, the unique "pika" of Qinghai Tibet Plateau, runs and plays in the grassland. The clear Niyang River flows gently in the grassland, and the surrounding mountains are continuous and the snow is shining. It is the first scenery in the west of gongbujiangda county and the first pure grassland scenery in Linzhi.

Yak

Yak is a unique breed of cattle in Tibet alpine grassland, known as the "boat of the plateau". It is mainly distributed in the Himalayas and the Qinghai Tibet Plateau. It can withstand the severe cold of minus 30-40 degrees. It can be used for farming and transportation on the plateau. Yak is a treasure all over its body. Tibetan people can't live without it. People drink yak milk, eat yak meat and burn yak dung. Hair can be used to make clothes or tents. Skin is a good material for leather making.

The charm of bangjietang lies in several shining "pearls" - hot springs on its grassland.
