Development history
Jade Road:
Hetian jade, produced in the depth of Kunlun, is a unique rare mineral in the world. The tremolite composition is more than 99%, and the Mohs hardness is between 6-6.9. It is fine and dense in texture, crystal clear and lustrous, and full of toughness. It can be carved with any fine technology. Its finished product is vivid and smooth, and has high appreciation value and collection value. It is a royal treasure in all dynasties.
Hetian jade is the main body of Chinese culture and the main characteristics of the origin of Chinese civilization. In ancient Chinese books, Kunlun Mountain is known as "the mountain of jade" and "the ancestor of mountains"; Qu Yuan, a famous ancient Chinese poet, wrote the quatrains of "climbing Kunlun and eating Yuying"; in thousand character essay, there is a saying that "Jin Sheng Lishui, jade comes out of Kungang". This shows the ancient people's confirmation of Hotan jade producing area.
Starting from five or six thousand years ago, with today's Hotan region in Xinjiang as the center, Anyang in the Central Plains in the East, and the Mediterranean in Europe in the west, the "Jade Road" of Ideological and cultural exchanges between the East and the West was gradually formed, and finally the Chinese jade culture system with Hotan jade as the main body was formed, so as to standardize people's ideological cultivation and social practice. Hotan jade also became the incarnation of gentleman and the symbol of morality.
In ancient times, Hotan had a long history of mining Mountain Jade. Jade is on the top of Kunlun snow mountain, with dangerous traffic, high cold and lack of oxygen. As "Taiping Yulan" recorded: "the most difficult to get jade, cross the three rivers and five lakes to Kunlun Mountain, thousands of people go, hundreds of people return, hundreds of people go, ten people return." Even so, the ancients risked their lives to collect jade from Kunlun mountain. In ancient times, when digging a hole for jade, it was necessary to nail a hanging rope and then chisel it. Jade will fall, tied to a giant rope, slowly down, some big material, heavy or ten million jin, dangerous and hard, you can imagine.
Song Yingxing, a scientist of Ming Dynasty, wrote a large-scale scientific and technological document Tiangong Kaiwu, which recorded the vivid historical scene of ancient people fishing for jade in the river at the foot of Kunlun Mountain: because of the strong reflection of jade, the moonlight is very bright where there is jade in the river, so people often choose to pick jade in the moonlight of autumn night, and look for the brightest place along the river, so it is easy to find jade. In order to find the beautiful jade submerged in the water and hidden at the bottom of the river, the ancients specially selected young women with delicate face and light body to collect the jade naked. They believed that the vigorous Yin Qi of women could summon and attract the most beautiful jade seeds, and let the pure jade and the female body meet in the water, rather than let it be lost in the river.
Jade treatment technology:

Design and consideration:
To carve a hard jade into a fine work of art, creative design and exquisite carving are very important. First of all, the raw materials of jade should be comprehensively analyzed, or analyzed according to the quality, or divided according to the needs, or treated specially. Then we should conceive the quantity of jade materials. The shape, texture and color of jade should be considered in the design to give full play to the potential of jade. The third step is the key process of jade carving. This process is generally divided into different subjects. Those who are characters don't make flowers and birds, and even those who are maids don't make Buddha statues. The process of carving is very complicated. It needs enough basic skills to use diamond to carve out fine silk like patterns. The next step is to cut and locate the pieces, and use the mound to cut off the superfluous part of the jade, so that the corresponding part of the image is gestated in the specific block surface. Next, the structure of the image is made in detail on the corresponding block surface. Then, the carving process is carried out in detail, and finally on the basis of the first decoration Trimming, make the image depiction more accurate and detailed. The last process is the fine grinding, polishing, cleaning, waxing and wiping after the completion of the jade carving process. In this way, the magnificent jade ware is basically completed.
Exquisite color and carving:
Hetian jade has many colors, such as white, green, yellow and black. After tens of millions of years of wind and rain erosion, the surface of all kinds of jade materials will produce colorful colors. These natural colors are the conditions for creating beautiful color works of art. Chinese jade has always been praised by the world for its exquisite selection of materials, exquisite processing and excellent design, while beautiful jade shows the subtlety of Chinese jade because of its natural combination of color utilization and modeling design.
